It is with great sadness that I have to inform everyone that Andrew Hansen a.k.a. The Private Man has completed his journey as 9:27 PM April 3 2017.

As many know unfortunately his cancer had returned a few weeks ago and there was not much to be done to help him. He chose to face it head-on rather then try experimental treatments. His greatness and courage in the face of knowing his own moral demise is an inspiration for us all.

It’s a great loss for not only all that followed his writing and his teachings but for those of us who consider him a friend. His last days were as comfortable as possible and he passed peacefully.

I can only hope that he realized how many peoples lives he touched and we were all better for knowing him. As the saying goes “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”

Also I want to announce that this site will stay up. For any of his commenters I am Mark AKA Richard Cranium and I am honored and humbled that he is chosen me to keep his teachings and writings alive. There is much knowledge and wisdom to be learned here and I will do my best to keep his legacy preserved.

Godspeed my friend. Your time with us was short but meaningful.

Awww fuck, I was planning on driving out to FL to see after my lease expires next Friday. It's very sad to see him go, he continues to be a great asset to the forum, the manosphere, and many newbies. His sense of humour always got me laughing and tweets brightened up my day.

As Roosh would say, he's a pillar of the community. It was interesting to see the things from the mind of a man who knew his finals days were coming.

As to Andrew's Private Woman - that is the nurturing aspect that women have too if the man is Alpha/inspiring enough to them. We know that women can follow a man they admire even to death. He mentioned that he was surprised to have found such a woman that late in life - she even knew that he would likely not live very long, but still decided to be in his life even for that short period.

Let me find out if that donate link is still valid it might have gone to his personal banking of which I don't know if his GF has access to. His blog is hosted on Wordpress so there's no fees needed to keep it active.

We exchanged a few messages last night she said he passed peacefully. I unfortunately missed his going away party recently because I had a gig that night and he declined after that and his interview with Molyneux so I didn't get to have a last meeting with him. She said he lamented that he never got a chance to come to any of my shows due to his health issues and being unable to drive after his lost his eye.

He was only 55. Way too young to call it a day. I'll be 50 this year and just had another friend pass away from a heart attack at 51. Really gives you perspective on his short life really is and to make the most of it.

I think you're right. Tenderman didn't die and he's logged in within the past six weeks or so. He just stopped posting for some reason. Somebody said, "R.I.P." when giving him a rep point.

R.I.P The Private Man. I didn't know about him until his thread about dying in the deep forum. I don't think there's a better way to approach death. He handled it like a boss. Talk about an inspiration. I went back and read a bunch of posts on his blog. He's definitely someone to try to emulate. Hopefully his work will be immortalized on the internet. RichardCranium, you have a big pair of shoes to fill.

I'm sure in the decade this forum has been around that at least a couple of guys have died. Odds are that everyone figured they just quit posting.

I suggest meeting at least a few members in person that have your real name and info so if a semi t-bones you, we can know you passed away instead of thinking you're a dick for not posting anymore.

Man, no matter how long you have to prepare it still hits hard.

The Private Man was one of the very first blogs I followed on my journey into the Manosphere.

What a fantastic legacy to leave!
