I know this means very little as it cannot change your fate that know that you helped many men reclaim their masculinity. If I could shake your hand I would I hope we meet in the next world

I wanted to wait to write this because you might still be hanging on. I didn't want to say “was” about you when it still might be “is.” But then, fuck it-- you would laugh.

Drew was a fucking good guy and I'm glad I knew him. He represented the best of this scene. He was here to help other guys and he took joy in it. That's the lesson I'll take from him. He was always quick to help an up and comer out and throw you a kind word.

I remember watching his Molyneux video-- he talked about working into his last days so his loved ones would be taken care of. Up to the end his thoughts were on helping people. Me, the minute I see a slightly irregular mole, I'm burning down my office. Running out of the flames with double birds raised, and my family can blow me. He calmly kept on so others could have a good life.

I remember talking to him on the phone, his hilariously perfect booming broadcaster voice. Never got to meet him face to face but we spoke about some heavy shit. I think about spilling the beans on those conversations and I hear his voice saying “they don't call me The Public Man, numbnuts.”

He gave us a lot. But the last thing eclipses all of it. He showed us how you face death and laugh.

What a fucking legend.

Since I have never met nor chat with The Private Man in real life (except when I visited his web site to read his blog posts), all I can say is "thank you" for the inspiration and guidance with your words and wisdom that you shared with us in the manosphere/red pill community.

I have to be honest this is hit me pretty hard. I got to be quite good friends with Andrew over the last couple years as I also live in South Florida. If you only knew him through his writing he was pretty much who you thought he was. A great guy and generous with his time and his wisdom. He did find a great niche for his knowledge and his writing with guys like myself who are middle-aged.

It's also been an interesting lesson about how life isn't fair sometimes. For a great guy like Andrew to be stricken with a rare form of cancer and ultimately succumbing to it. He is to be commended however are handling it like a boss and facing it straight on.

He has handed his blog over to me and I can assure you his writings and teachings will live on. He's one of the good guys in the 'sphere and we're all better for it. Thank you Andrew for the teachings and the friendship and may you find peace and comfort to whatever realm you're heading to when you leave this mortal coil.
