If you cannot provide a service or value here, it is considerably cheaper to offer aid from a distance.

My personal opinion on these matters would be quite unfavorable, to say the least, but I have some level of sympathy for those that struggle due to the position they inherited as they emerged from the crib. That I understand.

The day someone can explain to me how it is in my (our) best interest to relocate people from the desert with no communication skills, no understanding of our culture (or desire to conform to it as is without drastic change), and zero marketability for increased GDP/job needs/ etc. - yes sir I'm right here waiting. Tell me. Show me.

Forget the minutiae, the debate of who radicalized whom and when and who speaks for them and why- just answer us this- if you wanna roll with us, why? And what do you bring to the table? The government believes the three defendants, all members of a local Indian-Muslim sect, subjected numerous girls to genital cutting procedures over a 12-year period. To date, the government says it has identified eight victims -- including the two Minnesota girls -- though Woodward said the government estimates there could be as many as 100 victims. She said that's a conservative estimate, and that it's based on Dr. Attar's alleged admission to authorities that he let Nagarwala use his clinic up to six times a year to treat children for genital rashes.

Attar's lawyer, Mary Chartier, scoffed at the claim.

"I think the government has overstated so many aspects of this case and this is one more example of overreaching," Chartier said after the hearing, during which she and another lawyer convinced the judge to set the Attars free.

The defense has argued that the Attars did not engage in any criminal act and that the procedure at issue is a protected religious rite-of-passage that involves no cutting, but rather a scraping of genital membrane. They also argued the Attars are not a danger to the society and have no reason or desire to flee, convincing U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman to release them on bond.

Friedman, who stressed that he believes the case involves "serious" charges, issued the following conditions in granting bond to the defendants:

They have to surrender their passports.
They will be on house arrest, on GPS tethers, and are not allowed to communicate with anyone except family members or their lawyers.
They will only be allowed to leave the home to visit their lawyers or for doctor's visits -- both of which have to be approved first.
"I think he is thrilled," Chartier said of her client, Dr. Attar. "He is anxious to fight this case and clear his name."

The Attars will likely not be released from jail until Thursday, when their lawyers surrender their passports to authorities. At issue for the Attars is their parenting rights. Currently, they are not allowed to live with their minor daughter as the state is trying to terminate their parenting rights.

Chartier said a hearing is scheduled on the parenting-right issue for next week, and she is hoping that the Attars will be allowed to live with their daughter again.

The Attars have been jailed for more than a month since getting charged in April in an explosive case that has captured international attention and planted a bull's-eye on a small Muslim sect known as the Dawoodi Bohra.

The Attars are Bohras, along with the lead defendant in the case, Dr. Nagarwala, 44, of Northville, who is accused of performing the cutting procedures on the two Minnesota girls.

Nagarwala, meanwhile, remains locked up pending the outcome of her trial. Her attorney, Shannon Smith, was in court Wednesday. She declined comment on allegations that her client subjected up to 100 girls to genital cutting, but noted that she, too, will seek to have her client released on bond.

If convicted, Nagarwala and Dr. Attar face up to life in prison; Attar's wife faces up to 20 years. The two physicians face the most serious charge in the case, transportation of an individual with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, which carries a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison.

I think the parents got hoodwinked by their prosecutors.

Sheikh demanded an apology and wanted her Facebook post removed, which stated she would “fight with every fiber of my being” if the group was violating basic rights.

Sheikh says he just “asked her to clarify a statement … which seemed very Islamophobic.”

“She flat-out refused,” he said. “She said, ‘My statement wasn’t inflammatory in any way, shape or form.’” (Dallas Morning News)
Her office then asked for them to support the American Laws for American Courts bill and to abide by the Constitution. Sheikh instead flew off the handle.

“We don’t care about the bill,” Sheikh said. “It’s not going to affect us in any way, shape or form. The bottom line is the foundation of this bill is anti-Islamic.” (Dallas Morning News)

The meeting was filled by Muslims from the Council for American-Islamic Relations, a known terrorist organization. They even tried to paint the vote as Islamaphobia and bigotry.

“This continues efforts by elected officials who seek to score points with their voting base by demonizing Muslims,” Alia Salem, who directs the North Texas chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, told the City Council before Thursday’s vote. The state bill doesn’t even mention Muslims or Islam. It states no specific foreign law. There isn’t even a mention of Sharia. In the end, four Irving council members voted to oppose supporting the Texas bill — John Danish, Allan Meagher, Joe Putnam and Dennis Webb. Danish, a Muslim council member, got up and addressed the crowd of mainly Muslims before casting his no vote.

“It is clear by the way this has developed that you feel threatened by it,” Danish said to the crowd minutes before the vote. “You, my neighbor! You, my fellow American, feel threatened by it and that is not right!”

Fortunately, despite the intimidation tactics by CAIR and the Islamic Tribunal, five of the counsel members saw right through it for what it is — the attempt to establish Sharia law, just like their website says, on American soil.

Every mosque is automatically a sharia court. Every mosque is seen by Islam as an embassy, since Islam is not only a religion, but also a political movement.

Also every mosque has to have a head Imam who is also legally a judge.

So this will stop nothing. They would have to ban mosques.

Rules in which Islam breaks law:

+ promotion of polygamy - most of it illegally
+ sharia courts - literally possible in every bloody mosque - supersede US law and not only marry and divorce, but they settle disputes, punish the accused etc.

So far they lack the power to enforce the law, but that shall come soon enough, the family usually enforces the law if the parties don't adhere to the verdict. Plenty of girls were killed or sent back the ancestral lands to be married off to the first cousin, so she may bear some low-IQ demented children.

Because in many of the Muslim countries, ladies and men who are not qualified and do not have the training or the knowledge as to what exactly needs to be done, they cut more than needed.

The lecture then took another turn, as the imam explained why he believes the practice to be necessary.
'On the contrary, you see in societies where circumcision of girls is completely prohibited, hyper-sexuality takes over the entire society, and a woman is not satisfied with one person, or two, or three,' he said.
'This is, God forbid, now happening even in Muslim societies where they prohibit circumcision.
'They use a mistake in practice to prohibit the tradition, and they end up causing a lot of damage on the other extreme side of the sexual life of a woman.'

The shocking practice, according to the Washington Post, is pushed in large part due to the want to suppress female sexuality and incorrect claims about potential health benefits - despite it not having any basis is the teachings of the Koran.
Dar al-Hijrah's Board of Directors blasted the imam's comments on Monday, in a statement given to the Post.
'We at Dar Al-Hijrah, DO NOT condone, promote, or support any practice of FGM,' it read.
'The reference to "Hyper-sexuality" is offensive and it is unequivocally rejected. The Board of Directors is particularly disturbed by such comments.'
It added that female genital mutilation is: 'prohibited in Islam as well as the laws of the land'.
The imam also issued an apology, which read: 'I hereby take it back. And I do apologize to all those who are offended by it'.

Elsayed has a controversial past, and earlier this year he was accused by right-wing website the Daily Caller of urging American Muslims to carry out jihad.
