Welcome to the European family Levantines!

Lol i gave a sample to that Zallou3a guy in my college days. He was checking for Lebanese' phoenician origins (lebanese love to argue about phoenician vs arab identity). I wonder if thats the same material they used for this.

Anyway europe is cucked now, better to be lebanese Tongue

Naturally. How else would the Carthaginians have survived the freezing cold of the Alps?

The Out of Africa thing has always been BS, especially in its mass journalist approach of dispensing information (we all come from what we think of currently as east african/ethiopian type peoples)

Where do you think we come from then? Aren't Europeans a mix between a couple percent Neanderthal and the rest some kind or maybe different ancesertors-species from Africa?

We all come from Ham, Shem, or Japheth (sons of Noah) and their wives (God knows where they came from).

Ham populated Africa with dark-skinned children. Shem (root word of Semitic, which includes Arabs) populated the Levant with brown children. Japheth populated the Caucasus with fair-skinned children. Thousands of years and much migration later, here we are.

The best guess for the garden of eden is a location somewhere in the persian gulf. Not the persian gulf region but rather the gulf itself. This is based on the description of the location in Genesis which refers to four rivers, and speculation that they meet at a point which is now covered by the Persian Gulf.

My only point is that our oldest point of origin would be in Asia, not Africa.

Phoenix, considering that Persians and Indians descended either wholly or in part from Caucasians, I don't find the East Asians difficult to account for.

RE: Levatine people originally from Europe - DNA study
I don’t think it’s a good idea to trace the origins of caucasian people based on the Old Testament. The stories of the Ark of Noah and Garden of Eden can be traced back to the oldest work of literature ever found: The Epic of Gilgamesh, which is more than 4000 years old. The Ark of Noah is almost a copy paste and the Garden of Eden story has different names: Enkidu and Shamhat instead of Adam and Eve. The stories are also different but the meaning to derive from it are the same. (its a good read and you can find it for free on internet)

This book was written by Sumerians, which is the oldest known agricultural civilization. The lives in the Persian gulf of present day Irak. These people where polytheists, not that it matters because the Epic of Gilgamesh was not written for religious purposes.

The Old Testament was a religious book written for the glory of the Israelites, aka Jews. But genetically I suppose the link is very weak between modern day jews and Israelites, but is still possible. God chose them as his special people to give them the holy book.

This book also describes other tribes and peoples based on a genealogical register, starting with Abraham and then like Hoser said the 3 main ‘nations’ became Ham, Chem and Japeth. I think the authors just described all the known tribes of their time. That’s why they didn’t describe Chinese, Indians, Japanese, Aboriginals,… They just didn’t know them yet.

According to the latest genetic research people originate from Africa, and migrated throughout the world and they interbred with at least 2 other species: Denisovans and Neanderthals, and my personal belief is that there were other humanoids roaming around which crossed bred with the archaic African people. This led to some differences in appearance and the other factor that did this were environmental factors.

Persians and Indians (Northern Indians, anyway) ARE Caucasian, more specifically Indo-European.

Interesting stuff, and thanks to all for keeping it civil.

Re: floods, just because one culture wrote down a reference before another culture did doesn't mean that the later culture borrowed the tale from the earlier. Flood legends where one righteous family is saved exist on every inhabited continent. Definitely seems to point to a common event that actually happened. I agree that this fact alone proves nothing, nor does it tell us which culture got the story right.

Re: genes--DNA studies lead us back to an Adam (original man from whom all males descended) and an Eve (earliest woman from who all modern women descended) who existed many generations apart. Some take this to disprove the Garden of Eden.

However, if you consider the Biblical flood account, you remember that Noah's wife, and his sons' wives, all married into the same unbroken Adam-to-Noah lineage (special mention was made of Noah's pure lineage in Gen Ch.6). Therefore, although all Noah's grandchildren had him as their grandfather, and Adam as their great-great-great(etc) grandfather, this lineage makes sense.

Why is that? Because the sons' wives would have come from all over the place. Thus, the FEMALE gene strands of mankind share a common family lineage only as far back as Noah's sons' mother... who lived many generations after Eve.

In other words, reasonable men can conclude that the DNA anomaly actually supports the biblical account.

I do love this stuff, and I wish life were long enough to permit me to get a Ph.D. In everything that interested me this much.

Neither, both are relative newcomers to the area.

Assad is a based Aryan Big Grin

White people have been migrating up and down parts of North Africa and the Levant for a very very very long time.

There are studies linking Cypriots,Sicilians ,Syrians,Greeks and Jews genetically for a reason (aside from just similarities in physical appearance)

Yeah the Jews displaced the Palestinians and the Palestinians slaughtered the Greeks that were there before

Philistines are supposed to have Aegean/Greek origins, but that's going well over two millennia back.

Gay cakes and trans bathrooms: the most important human rights issues of our times, surely.
