Is that right? Well Instant was a bit of dump to be honest. It was the last resort for picking up very drunk tourists and the dregs of the night since it was typically one of the last places open.

I lived in the city for about a year back in 2013/2014. I had a couple of mini-relationships with locals but it took time and social game. I find Hungarian women to be more meek than their slavic neighbours, making conversation easier. But it's all subjective at the end of the day.

I'd visit again, love the city. It would just feel a bit weird been an outsider again.. I've lost contact with most of the people I knew over there.

I love Hungary and Budapest , but just a word of warning, Hungarians are very nationalistic, if your not Hungarian or speak Hungarian you are instantly categorized.

For people from India and similar places , i think men of color would have quite a difficult time in Hungary, im just saying.

Obviously everyone will have different experiences in the same place, I lived there in Budapest for three years so I have a bit more experience and based on my experience there so much said here isn't totally accurate. Just the last post "men of color would have a difficult time"... well nothing can be further from the truth, I know guys of all colors and nationalities doing well there. Indians, Turks, arabs blacks etc.... no one here has to take my word for truth but anyone who's spent some time there got out of hanging at Szimpla and Instant all the time with the dirty backpackers you'd have a better understanding of Budapest. To be honest most of the clubs and bars that are named here aren't really places I'd ever spend time at. Try BoB on a Wednesday night, try otkert, 4bro, Vicky Barcelona, meet people go to house parties. What I'm reading doesn't really sound like. Diapers because a lot of it just isn't all that accurate, you can take it for whatever it is or not that's up to you.

First time visitors to Budapest will like experience one of three different scenarios:

Builds a high end social circle and has frequent intimate encounters with the best of Budapest. Always adds value and is richly rewarded.

3) Lone wolf tries to snipe Budapest. Aspiring player reads epic stories of sexual conquest with beautiful Central European goddesses who you can meet using a simple Daygame.com sidewalk opener, have pornstar sex with the same night, and still bring home to meet your parents in the West, no strings attached. Player arrives in Budapest, is rudely rejected (even blatantly ignored) during numerous attempts to meet women walking around the city during the day. Shakes off the brutal blowouts and decides club game must be easier. Grabs a late dinner and rolls into Szimpla. Large groups of drunk Brits, Scandinavians, and Western European tourists crowding the dance floor and congesting the bar areas. "Freezes and doesn't talk to anyone". Continues to struggle trying to establish solid connections with women for an extended period. Vents frustration on RVF. Hopefully doesn't give up and keeps trying different approaches. Gradually embraces a boss attitude. There is no losing when you take a risk, get out of your comfort zone, and thrust yourself into a foreign environment. Losing is not an option. There is only "Win or Learn." You are anti-fragile. Persist. Evolve. Winning is only a matter of effort, creativity, and time.

The point to this post is that Budapest has rich rewards for visitors who bring contagious energy and or valuable experience to share with the locals. For those who expect to show up and expect to bang quality just for being from a rich country, though, you have a difficult life lesson coming your way.

Bring massive value. Engage the culture. Share. Budapest will reciprocate. Explore. Learn. Share. Grow. Repeat.

Bro you are in s city that you can literally go out and party seven days a week Hungarians are always out partying and ONS culture is very strong. If you're staying in the flat twiddling your thumbs, playing video games and reying solely in Tinder you my friend are missing the boat. Trust me go out get in them skreetz and see what the nightlife has to offer.

Correction to an earlier statement Instant is cool, but it's not a place you start the night its where you go at 4am... there are a large amount of tourist but many locals go too, I've pulled some 8s 9s and even a 10 once (Portuguese tv show host) there but mostly it's dirty backpackers and torusit, so more than likely you'll get 5s-7s I've pulled more than my fair share of sub par women in that place on a drunk night/morning.

Some of those dirty Scandanavian backpackers had some great bodies, but that being said like El Jefe said Szimpla and Instant were mostly 5-7s, thought frankly, I rarely saw any fatties there either. It was so easy there that I just kept going.

You really have to get in Szimpla early though, by 12 o clock, you've missed your chance and you better hope a bunch of new talent walks in.

There are a decent amount of hot Hungarians that go to Szimpla Kert every so often. You can always pick them out by the way they dress (usual way nicer). The 9+ though will be at other places.

Most Hungarian girls I talked that I met at other bars seemed to like Szimpla, though if they were talking to me, they're probably into foreigners.

Lastly, I've heard nothing but brown and black guys doing well there, Im not sure whats with all the troll posting about this shit lately in the travel section.

To all the guys who say they've relocated and are "living" in Budapest, how are you guys doing it? I've been abroad in Europe for a while now and I have to leave every three months and the rule states that foreigners would have to stay out for a while before being allowed to return (per Schengen rules).

I'm sorry but I don't consider just picking up and going there to be "relocating." It would have to be legit like having a long term visa or residency. Otherwise you're a tourist there on a passport. Anyone have any inside information on how they are able to move to Budapest and stay long term and get a visa or residency?

Can you guys recommend a fitness center/gym with a Jacuzzi that's hotter than 35 Celsius / 95 degrees Fahrenheit? I checked all the websites and people paying 100 bucks a month to sit in a cold ass Jacuzzi, at these fancy fitness clubs there.

The temp should be 104 f / 40 c otherwise it's a waste of money. 35 celcius isn't a Jacuzzi, it's a luke warm kiddie pool with bubbles.

@Don your Romanian so you simply have to leave the Schengen via Hungary every 89 days and you're good. Literally you can cross the border turn right back around and you're good for 89 more days. You can do the same in Poland and enjoy the Schengen permanently.

Airbnb prices have went way up in the past few years with Airbnbs popularity, if yuore going to stay longer than a month I'd suggest getting an airbnb for a month and renting a place long term. Then just breaking the lease otheriwse youre going to pay a large amount, that at the end of the day you really dont have to.

Update

Friday

First went to Peaches & Cream at 10PM, waited in line until 11PM, still could not get in, so we bounced. Went out to Otkert, lots of Hungarian hotties, but I was going deaf after 2 hours so loud, ratio is ok. Talked to a lone French 5/10 who was waiting for her friends, couldn't close because her friends pulled her away. Wasn't all that interested anyways. My wing saw a girl who he went on a date with, they talk and went home together.

Came back home, approached a restaurant hostess, got her FB and number, asked her out for drinks, she told me that sounds great, Thursday she is free. So I arrange a date on Thursday, she never replied.

Zing Burger - Awesome angus beef burgers with amazing fries, 5/5.

Indigo Indian Restaurant - Slow service but probably the most authentic and delicious Indian food I ve ever had, very good price as well, portions are great.

Paraz Pressoz - Thai style restaurant. Lots of food selections, great portions, and very cheap, food is great but not amazing.

Korhely Faloda - Tons of good reviews on google, but my experience was terrible, their food was really bad, and the environment felt like you are in a surgery room....would not recommend.

Only late night option during weekdays? I've always read on here that Budapest has pumping 24/7 nightlife and is the best city in Central/Eastern Europe for that.

Other opinions on this? I'm a big nightlife guy and like to party late so might need to reevaluate if I'm going to be sitting around twiddling thumbs waiting for Friday/Saturday night.

Here’s the deal: Instant closing down is both a good and bad thing. Good because I have no use for that place. Check out the link from jc7000kk above and take a close look at the pictures included. Maybe 3 or 4 girls and about 35 to 40 sweaty guys. There you have midnight to close at Instant. Sure, if you like multiple, decently insulated rooms, each with its own type of “bumping” music, it’s great. I just happen to think it sucks. Which brings me to the bad news: guys looking for alternatives to Instant will start invading other places. I’m hopeful that Instant’s proximity to many hostels will prevent the guys from heading towards the river or towards the Dobos/Szimpla area (both ~1-2KM walks), but when on summer (or any) holiday, guys will do what they gotta do to find the chicks.

A couple of other observations from the thread:

Like anywhere else the best girls WON’T be on Tinder, but you can still pull some damn good ones, locals included. I’ve never been big on social circle game, especially in other countries, so I can’t speak for this, although I assume that it works pretty well in BP. However, in such a big city with so many people and nightlife options, social circle won’t be necessary, assuming that you’re okay with non-Hungarians…

Which leads to the next point. Because BP is such a popular city (5th most visited city in Europe, believe it or not), there is a constant presence of girls from all over the EU and beyond. This presence amps up considerably in the summer so if you don’t object to non-Hungarian girls looking to “have fun!!!” on vacation, Tinder and nightgame can be even more valuable. However, because of the YOLO nature of tourist girls, you have to look the part. If you plan on making Tinder a significant portion of your game repertoire in BP (or any tourist-heavy city), you REALLY have to devote some time to your look, need to hit the gym, etc. I knew guys before who got double digit matches each day and other guys who didn’t get that many in weeks. These matches usually led to more hookups than they normally would in less touristy places. Now are all of these girls gonna be the dimes that you might pull from Otkert? Usually not, but if you’re in the town long-term and aren’t big on social circle or day game, it’s a great for decent, low-investment returns and for capturing flags.

Don’t discount couchsurfing either. Great during the heavy summer tourist months.

Daygame can be brutal since the Hungarian women (and many people in general) can be quite cold to unknown English-speakers, mainly due to the fact that so many come to the country and treat it so poorly while on vacation (they do open up considerably with time, though!). Just about all of my direct approaches failed. However, on a few different occasions, going almost insanely indirect (commenting about dogs in a dog park and stupid stuff life that) worked pretty well. It also helps if you’re reasonably sober/not holding an open Dreher (unless your at Deak Ter on Friday night. In that case, grab a bag, 10-15 beers, find a spot on the field and just start shooting the shit and offering beers to people nearby).

One last thing about nightgame in the more tourist-heavy spots: don’t be afraid to go out alone and make approaches, even to larger groups. In these places, there are few locals, few cliques, etc. that girls can default to when a strange guy comes up to them. In fact most are interested in meeting new people and talking to strange guys from strange places that in many cases, they’ve only heard about. I experienced incredibly few blowouts on nightgame approaches in these spots, even when riding solo.

Ultimately, I think it makes sense to have an idea of what you’re looking for in BP. If you’re dead-set on locals, it obviously makes sense to invest in social circles, to live closer to Andrassay and Deak Ter (or even near the Octagon), and to hit up the clubs closer to the river. I think for most, the process will be slower, but the reward will be higher quality. If you’re cool with mixing up (mainly) tourists and locals, itemize your game with good-looking Tinder photos and the commitment to game solo in tourist spots and hostel bars (now, somewhat far apart) when needed. Quality won’t be as high in general, but you can still meet some very cute girls and have some fun. In either case, typical game rules apply (if here long-term, get into a routine, join a gym, be doing other things besides game, be interesting) as the grind of non-stop gaming will take a toll and can lead to negative results.

Why are you not going after Hungarians???? You're in Hungary, they are guaranteed to be hotter and sluttier than the Western European women you are going after.... I have a rule of thumb to pretty much stay away from Dutch, Norwegian, Britts, Americans, Spaniard only because they are a waste of time 90% off the time. Oh don't get me wrong you'll bang some quite easily but usually it's a not going to be very fruitful. . Hungarians are going to be harder upfront but they just give shit test initially keep pressing youll bang. Chase he Romanians, Croatians, Russians, Ukrainians I assure you life will be better for you. And listen to John Kreese if you must chase tourist he knows that game well better than me

I am man, the two girls I slept with within these 3 weeks are Hungarians. I am just approaching girls that's hot, regardless of nationality, ethnicity or race.

On weekdays, Kuplung and Szimpla and my gym seem to be the spot, but on the weekends, definitely going to be more Hungarian heavy spots.,

Thats strange.. ive found it easier with Americans over here in Europe than in America. I have seen potential with Brits too. But I again I dont live in a tourist city and don't have the volumes you guys are getting (although i wish i had)
