OP PM'd me but it was the same: My uncle says x and y about me and how I'm behind. He gave me specifics as to why they may be doing what they're doing to him.

I said that so far what he has done was "woe is me." If he can commit to some actions then I will help him but I will not help him figure out why his uncles don't like him. Not my job and not his either.

I let him know that he should tell me when he's ready to take action and what he wants to accomplish. Once I know this, I will genuinely spend time with him. Until then, I asked him not to waste my time.

Additionally, I asked him to post his questions here so all of us can hold him accountable.

You can only help people that want the help and give you effort in return. Putting in effort on your end on someone that is not committed is an utter waste of time.

I hate to be so crass but life won't be pretty for him without a rude awakening like this. If he doesn't want it, his choice.
