Portugal is second tier vacation spot and you get only get tourists if anything happens countries like Croatia, Turkey or Greece who are also known as second-tier vacation spots.

I do enjoy my vacations in Cote d'azur for past 20 years and nothing happened so far. In fact, I will be in Cannes for the Film Festival next week. Enjoy Setubal while I'll be in Cannes/Monaco.
