If I have a girl that seemed like a decent prospect flake and she's at least somewhat respectful about it, I'll usually respond with an "ok, I'll let you make it up to me" and leave it at that until she replies. They'll usually offer up an alternative at that point if they have any real interest. Otherwise, next. Bottom line, as always, if she wants to see you she will find a way.

I am of the opinion that flakes/ghost can be a good thing. It almost FORCES you to develop abundance mentality. Each flake/ghost matters less and less each time until you reach a point where you truly don't give a fuck. On to the next.

Whatever you do though, do NOT try to guilt them into feeling bad. Fake it until you make it if you must, but you have to develop a true idgaf either way attitude.

Id like to change my answer from a couple months ago. Ive had a few young girls flake and i did some experiments. I think this method is much more powerful. Instead of cracking a joke it's best to just ignore or, if you cant help yourself, a one word response like, "ok" and when they say sorry you hit them with "np." After a couple hours the hamster will start spinning and you will eventually receive a couple walls of text that you wont respond to until the next day. You will also respond nonchalantly with very little text. You continue to do this (short not give a fuck attitude plus long response time) until you fuck her.

Put it to you this way: if she's not into you she wont respond to anything you say, but she might respond if you dont say anything at all. If she is into you and she's telling the truth she will contact you again. If she is lying because she is on the fence about you she will contact you again. promise.
