Sup guys, anyone ever lived in the Monterey/ Santa Cruz area?

I got a pretty decent job offer there but am moving from a much bigger East Coast city. The area looks really beautiful but I am concerned about lifestyle and women specifically.

Any thoughts?

Honestly, it is annoying that lurkers just ask for help all the time. You have been here for almost 8 year and half and your 8 threads are related to looking for help, any thoughts in my new destination?

Be a man and travel, also contribuite with your experiences. I am sure that the forum give a lot value to your life and you are not returning it.

Totally pure air, youth is worshipped, don't mention any political anger style stuff. Californians near the coast are very liberal and highly intelligent, that state by far leads the nation in patents granted. Be careful driving, CHIPS rarely let you off with a warning and fines are stiff, 70s in a 55 cost me about $450 with traffic school. I actually fully stop at stop signs even when cops don't. They seem to write tickets more in late afternoon, trying to get their quota before the increased chance of getting shot during night stops.

The organic produce in California is incredible, in that area you should have unlimited wonderful mountain biking and other cycling if you like that.

If you're getting a full time job it reduces that outdoor time, but the mild climate is so great-- even in January you could ride your bike and if it's raining some high-tech gore-tex windstopper will still make it fairly OK. I think it's 4-5 hours to ski in the Sierras from that area, sometimes people carpool on multi-day trips. That way you only have cold weather when you want it.

The upper middle class girls in State U's are lovely and don't want marriage, good if you're a player, if you're young enough. They have parents who got the excess carbs message before a lot of the girls fattened up, but they still can't match Eastern Europe for elegant thinness. American girls even when trim are usually a little muscular, but the upper middle class is very good looking. Just make sure to be under 25-38. That's why I'm not there.

But-- what do you want out of life mwah hahah.
