Finally got around to reading this article along with the comments; man if there was ever a single comments thread to summarize the obnoxiousness of SJWs, this is it.

People ranting against a viewpoint they haven't bothered to understand in the slightest? Check.
People wanting to revoke someone's basic rights because of his political philosophy (which again they've made no attempt to comprehend)? Check.
Claims that a person who has never demonstrated any violent tendencies is a threat to people's safety? Check.
"White men could never understand what we go through"? Check.
Racist statements about the awfulness of white people in general? Check.

But even better than all of that is their wonderful "gotcha" point about him calling over a black gym employee to diffuse the situation. In fact, the woman who confronted him wrote:

Does this bitch not realize that he could've smashed every bone in her fat face with one hand tied behind his back if he was so inclined? The only thing he "needed" the gym employee for was to avoid committing a felony; in other words, he handled the situation exactly as he should have. What did these idiots want him to do, specifically request that a white male employee be brought in to assist? Yea, that would've gone over well. Clearly he was damned in their eyes no matter how he handled the confrontation.

As debeguiled so eloquently describes, here I am yet again stuck defending someone whose views I disagree with almost entirely, simply because he conducts himself like a civilized human being compared to the overgrown bratty children who oppose him. And I will continue to do until his opposition learns the concept of civilized discourse, which I don't see happening any time soon.
