Dat boi Mercenary stays woke!

That Collider is our ticket to fusion technology. Something that could be far more useful than anything demon related.

That said, I tried to watch the documentary about the scientists working there on Netflix years ago and fell asleep after being bored to tears. The lives of these awkward flat out weirdos was far too much for me. I thought I knew weird people like you guys, but those dudes are terribly weird, goofy, and quirky.

Didn't that scientist with the sexist shirt with rockabilly women on it, that triggered the feminists on HuffPost, work on this thing too? I forgot if that is the same dude or not.

The "Men of Old" were already on the Earth before (Nephalem). God removed them with the flood and almost any traces of them. Mercenary posted about in his other thread. The Bible does not seem to give the impression that God would let them come back again, in the form they had before. They already did their damage by exposing mankind to things we did not need to know about, and they subjugated and corrupted men. Anything from magic to advanced science.

Shiva may have been a Nephalem as well as all those other Hindu gods. My brother and I were talking about that a week ago. What curious timing.

There is no evidence to believe Shiva or any of Trimurti or other minor deities were at all present on Earth in physical form (unlike Jesus). The Nephilim were most likely the giant monster demon-human hybrids mentioned in the "Book of Enoch" (which was written before Noah's flood). That text is still part of the Ethiopian bible today. God made the world expand from the inside, splitting the continents very suddenly and flooded the entire world destroying these monsters. The same thing God will do now if these demons come through wormhole portal known as the the Hadron Collider.

A few years ago they found real life remains of the Nephilim which are known as the Paracas skulls.

It is also theorised that ancient Egyptian technology was even more far, far advanced than we are lead to believe. As for Shiva being the god of destruction, once again people without any real understanding of Hindu deities go for the simplistic explanation of Shiva being the God of Destruction.

It's said Erwin Shrodinger was influenced by Hindu cosmology when he came up with his equation. Robert Oppenheimer quoted the Bhagavad Gita when they tested the nuclear bomb: "I have become death." It is really not inconceivable that Hindu philosophy has had a deep impact on modern physics and neither then should people be surprised that the government of India would thus donate a statue of Shiva to CERN.

I don't have many fields of expertise, but physics/engineering and Indian philosophy are two of them, and this thread is so awful on both accounts I cannot tell if this is a troll job.

@TravelerKai, not sure how serious you were about a connection between the LHC and fusion, but for anyone interested: the energies provided by the LHC are so large protons split apart into their sub-particles. Fusion on the other hand would require protons (and really ions for that matter) to not disintegrate. The LHC and its physics is unrelated and unrelevant to fusion.
