Rees-Mogg looks like a great candidate, not the globalist Boris is, family man with 6 kids. He's got more offsprings than all the other European leaders combined, lol...
Is the fact that he's a practicing Catholic an impediment to his chances of getting elected?

It wouldn't really be the fact that he's Catholic (he completely respects the legitimacy of the Church of England, so it wouldn't turn away Protestants), more that he's just a religious, family-orientated man.
I love the UK but it is like the Titanic. And it's already steaming out of port, just waiting for its metaphorical iceberg to slam in to it.
In my opinion, nothing too major will happen for at least 5-10 years. France and Sweden are worse off than us but they're not in complete anarchy yet. Use the next 5 years or so to get ready to move at a moment's notice, most likely if Corbyn gets in to power.
Then wait another 10-15 years for the UKSR to implode, then move back in once it's all cleared up, hoping that the best of our countryside and heritage areas haven't been converted in to motorways or flat blocks.

RE: British Politics Thread
I don't think the revelation about Corbyn being a paid asset of Soviet intelligence during the Cold War is going to change the opinion of voters on him, whether they like or hate him. His fans will either brush the accusations off as nonsense or simply not care, as they probably dream of being part of the Soviet Union themselves. To his haters it's simply the latest in a long line of enemies of this country (Hamas, the IRA) that he has broken bread with.
He is utterly unfit to lead a political party in this country, and was so before this story broke, but fuck all will be done about it.

Sounds like something out of the Muh Russia neocon playbook, do you have any proof of that?
Wasn't the Ulster crisis settled by negotiating with the IRA? Does that constitute "breaking bread"?
A question to you guys, is Corbyn worse than Milliband or Blair? Corb is a died in the wool Sosh, but he's uncucked on foreign policy (that's why he's been getting so much flak), he's a closet global warming denier, and he's probably more lukewarm about the EU than the globalist Blairites. Hardcore labor types are against open borders, because it harms the working class. Thoughts?

Hardcore Labour types in 2018 aren't against open borders. McDonnell is the only one who might be, but he'll keep his mouth shut about that because in our bizarre world saying that will get him less flak than praising the IRA, Hamas or Lenin.
Corbyn is only 'uncucked' on foreign policy because he's a closet anti-semite, much like the rest of his party. And because it wins him votes from a 'core demographic'.
He's not a global warming denier, in any shape or form. His brother is a global warming skeptic, but Corbyn will tread the globalist line on global warming.
He's better than Blair because the process that will lead to eventual anarchy in the UK will be sped up if he was in power. Men like Blair and Cameron just delay it.

Yep there were a lot of subversive influences during the 70s/80s in the U.K. Yet the left wing militants whine and complain when anyone ever accuses them of it. Knowing how the Stasi and KGB operated, is it really out of the question that they got to 'useful idiots' like Corbyn to work for them in the U.K.
As for what this will mean in the future election, nothing. Core demographics will continue to vote for him and the kids voting will just see this as a quirky character trait. Speak to any honest person who works in the British public sector and they will tell you that everything is falling part. The smart ones realise that budget cuts are merely a consequence of a massive rot which has stemmed from our culture and seeped into most aspects of British society.
On the international stage, we are cutting off all our links one by one. Trump put out his hand, yet our social justice warriors in government decided to ruin that. Same applies to Russia, the only one that we went for was China but that will be a dodgy relationship to say the least. Even France and Germany can see through their ideologies and form relationships on the basis of reality and what the future is going to be looking like.
Ultimately a significant part of the population wants this and the rest are too meek to establish any dominance over the situation.
The most pathetic thing about the whole situation. Is that big chunks of the East have been moving away from the same ideologies that the U.K is trying to bring back into action. It is like a train wreck in slow motion. I wouldn't mind but this is very recent history, just a decade or two before most millennials.

Spot on. A train wreck in slow motion is the perfect way to describe it, and I'd rather someone just pressed fast forward and got it over with.
You're completely right about the sabotage from the left on all matters, as well. I don't know if it is just to try and undermine May because they believe it will get Corbyn in to power, or if they genuinely don't care about the future (i.e. good relationships with China, Africa and the US).
Are you out of the UK? Russia I'm guessing, from your flag. Great choice, it's a place I'm considering. As I've said before, all British citizens who don't want to live under Hammer and Sickle need to make contingency plans now.

RE: British Politics Thread
Quote: Gay sex should be part of the national curriculum, according to Jeremy Corbyn. The Labour Party leader backed the coverage of same-sex relationships in schools during an interview on Will Young’s Homo Sapiens podcast.
Currently sex education solely focuses on heterosexual couples practicing safe sex and healthy relationships. Teachers are not instructed to address the LGBTQ sexual experience.
During his appearance on the podcast, which was covered by the Gay Times, Corbyn asserted that he is fully behind a reform of the way sex, especially gay sex, is taught in schools. “Sex education should involve same-sex as well as heterosexual relationships – it’s about relationships.”
“Too much of it is not about relationships and understanding each other, having respect for each other and what is a genuine relationship and what’s an exploitative relationship; there’s a big difference. It’s giving young people the confidence to understand that a loving relationship is something to cherish and be proud of. An exploitative relationship is not.”
Host and former pop star Young said growing up gay is made harder by people ignoring it. “That’s very important and it makes me think of pornography. I think it’s so rife and people can get… people have phones when they’re younger now and whether you’re heterosexual or gay, bisexual, whatever – people will formulate their opinions on what a relationship is by watching pornography. People are ashamed to talk about sex. We’re so ashamed to talk about it. It’s about loving and being safe.”
Corbyn added: “And those who were frightened to admit their sexuality because of repression, and that goes back a long way more in history. Lord Byron spent a lot of time in Switzerland because there was no prosecutable law there like there was here at that time, like many others. I think we’ve got to learn from our history. I give Alan Turing as an example, I give Oscar Wilde – there’s a lot of others.”
The Labour leader’s support for the issue comes as politics is increasingly being played out in the classroom. Former Tory Education Minister Justine Greening backed plans for compulsory LGBTQ-inclusive sex and relationships education, however, she is no longer in charge. Her replacement, Damian Hinds, caused controversy earlier this week when he backed the suggestion parents could exclude their children from sex education classes.
