We all seem to have arrived at a consensus that the mainstream media is generally biased in favor of SJWs. In particular, they appear hellbent on pushing the narrative that white racists are the foremost threat to everyone's safety and security, while concealing the truth indicated by actual statistics on race and crime. I don't feel the need to support this notion any further, as their misleading and dishonest practices in service of this narrative have been so well-documented in other threads.

My question is simply: Why? What incentive do they have to deceive people on this subject?

Could it be well-intentioned (i.e. they want to prevent widespread hatred against blacks and Muslims), or is it part of a more sinister agenda?

Excellent question. Not long ago I posed the question to a group of fellow RVFers at a meetup and we couldn't really agree on the answer. (though there were several interesting theories)

I believe inevitably like most things it's a question of "following the money" Whoever or whatever entity reaps financial benefits by steering the narrative is the answer

To destroy the family unit and people so they can be easily controlled. That's why Liberals are basically Feminists/beta males (children). Children think their parents (government) are gods and never doubt them!

I was watching a tube on SJWs this week and most suffer from some kind of physiological problem!

Hollywood celebrities if they aren't acting, they are usually back in rehab hence Liberal supporters (mental problems).

Anything mainstream is toxic to human beings I find where I do my own research and come to my own conclusion about a matter.

Since Trump won, it's allot easier to talk to people about these issues. Before... I was treated like a terrorist!

I occasionally have to interact with journalists in a professional capacity. In addition to the points raised above, don't overlook laziness, stupidity and a general in-curiosity about the world. Anyone who is actually passionate about journalism usually can't get hired if they let it show.

Pretty much everything boils down to being about money/power. They're inextricably intertwined -- Try finding someone wealthy who isn't also powerful, and someone powerful who isn't also wealthy. You want to know why certain narratives are pushed? Like PapayaTapper said, "Follow the money."
