Bushcraft. Have you ever been to Britain? A few choice pictures by he daily mail is not representative of the standard of both men and women in the country. Britain is known for having a binge drinking culture but not everyone is involved in it. I'd say binge drinkers are actually a minority and it's them who give everyone else a bad name.

America is sneered upon by Brits mainly because it is a crux they use to feel better about themselves and to reaffirm their pre-existing stereotypes and prejudices against Americans.

Lots of people mock Americans for being god-fearing, supporting the right to gun ownership (which is actually legal in Britain, just a lot more restrictive. I once heard a typical leftist say 'any country where it is legal to buy guns is just idiotic. That was a facepalm moment.), and for being fat or having no culture.

The fat argument still stands, although I do see people whom I would class as being chubby calling Americans fat. However the culture one really pisses me off as it shows how many people these days are so self-unaware.

The culture argument used to hold ground because England had a rich history of literature, architecture, sports and leisure activities. However the majority of people now act as if they are in what used to be called American culture (degeneracy, sexual deviancy, individualism) yet simultaneously deride Americans for having the same ideas.

As a personal anecdote, I know a girl who fawns and obsesses over the Kardashians, watches all the MTV shows on them and has all the commercial products they create, yet is constantly seen on Facebook sharing posts post- Trump victory about how America never had a culture anyway.

Single parenthood is celebrated in the UK, and Church congregations are only propped up by African immigrants in city centres. Outside of that, you're probably looking at 0.5% of the population under 60 attending Church regularly.

I've been to Britain. As a history geek, it's possibly the best place in the world. As a young poon hound, it's quite depressing. London has some great selection, as does Dublin, but the rest is unfortunately average. One of the few countries where the men are better put together than the women (on average).

Europe in general is extremely socialistic, I don't know why. I have great admiration for the Americans for valuing self reliance, high Gun ownership etc. Freedom doesn't come free, and the Americans (majority) know this yet the brits couldn't care less about freedom, as long as they receive entertainment with braindead shows such as EastEnders being on the television they couldn't care less. Maybe it is fact that things have been too comfortable in the UK for too long, nothing since WW2 has there been anything to shake up the country.

It's disheartening to see the pictures here of our most addled elements, though they are there to see with the naked eye from Thursday-Saturday in town centres across the country. I'm sad to see many of the comments in this thread - not because they are untrue, but because they speak of an England that I don't recognise, and that I was spared from growing up. I grew up being taught Shakespeare and Milton in buildings that pre-dated the Norman Conquest. I never knew the reality presented here, and indeed still don't. I recognise it, of course, and have come into contact with it, but I find it unsettling. It makes me feel as though I'm something of an anachronism - the England I grew up on is in many respects, perhaps all respects that matter, more real to me than the one shown in these images and in the comments here. For much of history, whether our detractors like it or not, England has always existed as a kind of ideal - not just to her people, but to all people's around the world. It is a strange feeling to love something, and feel committed to something, one knows to be in the past - and what's more, something which shall not return.

The heart wrenching part of about those pictures is how fast everything decayed. The England I was born in and grew up in my first couple of years of life is washed away of hardy English. Their replacement is soft blobs of men, with no sense of identity. I see pubs that been their for 100 years being closed down, while I count on the number of Pakis are left and right of me as look upon the board up doors. Away from the major cities, I get the feel of England of my past, that barely holding on.

Britain has changed so much even over the last 15 years, and an incredible amount since the 50s and 60s. I have no memory of having an actual conversation with a black person until I was around 16. I had seen some when I went to London as a child, and saw them on the TV, but had never spoken to one properly. And that wasn't through me avoiding speaking to blacks, I just didn't see any around.

Since the Tory government got elected in 2010, they have started to destroy the countryside by building huge housing estates near existing villages and towns. The people who settle in these new housing estates are often from the big cities, so are much more 'diverse' than the original town or village. Now wherever I go near my hometown, I see lots of blacks and more asians than previously.

England doesn't exist anymore in the big cities. To get the sense of Englishness, you either need to go up North away from the cities or to the South-West.

Interesting you say that, growing up in one of the major metropolises in the U.K. I actually get a strange feeling when I speak to some 'native Brits'. I feel like they belong out of a World War 1 documentary casting. Mainly because their traditional accents, freshness and well, Britishness.

If you grow up in somewhere like London and Birmingham, you belong to a strange hybrid of different cultures that is emulating American hip hop culture. There may be pockets of 'Britishness' if you like going to the football but that is about it.

As for the binge drinking, it is hard to explain. I suppose a big part of it comes down to the shyness and reservedness that emanates from British people. After ten pints it all becomes released in some sickly pandoras box. Still regardless, I recommend a few nights out in one of the major city centres, it is a memorable experience and not always for the worst.

It isn't. We drink in a way most other countries can't begin to comprehend. I've traveled pretty extensively in Europe and Russia, and I have never seen drunkenness that even comes close to matching what you'll see here. We like to booze, as a people, in a way that no other people I've come across do.

Scandos also binge drink, you got it from there I think with the Vikings. Public drunkenness has been a thing in all of Northern Europe from hundreds of years.

It does seem like Brits have even less shame about it.

In the Netherlands and Germany they also like their booze, but it's true...it really is nothing like what you'll see in the UK.

Yes, I have some good friends from Norway who know how to party, and drink a lot. Even then, I consider myself a non-drinker (I go months without drinking at all) and I can more or less keep pace with what's considered normal heavy drinking for Norwegians. The only people I can't keep pace with at all are the English. I have plenty of friends who are out drinking 4 or 5 pints of 5% beer for a quiet drink 3 or 4 nights a week.

Add smartphone/social media addiction and that's Great Britain in a nutshell. The smart thing to do for a man in the UK is to make a plan to take extended breaks abroad, with the end goal of expatriation, then to get his head down and work hard towards that goal. Due to many factors discussed widely on this forum, this is easier said than done, but truly the best option for british men. I guess nature/fortune will self-select for those who can make it and those who can't. I know this forum is against MGTOW but becoming a "temporary MGTOW", dedicating time and effort towards geographic freedom, can be a smart move for british guys who get next to no joy out of banging terrible quality UK sluts.
