This is unfathomable to me.

Somehow, this man got in the habit of refusing to speak a word to his wife, at all. He talks to his kids. She talks to him. But he utterly refuses to speak to her.

And yet, she still tries to get him to talk.





Sometime, before they finished having kids, he stopped speaking to her. So, they were still getting freaky.



Over 20 years of living with this woman and not saying a word. Still, hopefully, getting it on. It certainly looked like she was taking it.

I have never seen anything like this. Only in Japan.

Hate to be the guy who wrecks the party, but I'm not 100% sure you can trust Tantei Knight Scoop to give real honest, accurate reporting. I don't watch it myself (Honestly I'm not sure it's still on) but those Japanese variety shows are closer to Weekly World News than CNN.

Silence is extremely masculine in Japan. Verbosity is considered feminine. So the word "desu" in the masculine is "da," "hai" becomes a guttural grunt of "un," etc. Stuff like the op was common in imperial Japan.

Finland has that kind of culture as well. Lot of the older men are really silent in a masculine way. There is even a Finnish proverb: "Speaking is silver, silence is gold".

This has nothing to do with masculinity or being alpha. If you watch the video, the man admits that he did this because he was jealous of the attention his wife gave his children. He has been sulking for 23 years. He has no control over himself and his mindset is weak. Nothing at all admirable.

From what I hear this is very common in Japanese marriages. Women there totally go from total sex freaks to full time miss bitchy dry cunt and refuse all sex and affection after a few childbirths. She probably was giving him world class blowjobs for years, and then suddenly after a few kids - bam ! Nothing but frigid ice queen ! And then the TV show makes it acts like he's the bad guy and the wife is all sweet and innocent. Bullshit !

This problem could have easily been resolved if he'd put his foot down the moment she started pulling that no sex/no affection/no blowjob bullshit....but instead he just went all weak ass gamma and just stopped talking to her, and her cunt probably got even dryer than the fucking sahara desert with his pathetic sulky mangina weak ass behaviour. Let it be a lesson to all of us...when your wife gets unaffectionate and cold and withdraws sex it means you are getting weak and useless as a man and need to be more masculine with your actions, words, leadership and demands....not less.

Now, with that said, I admit the video was pretty funny and touching in a way, even if obviously set-up by the TV production company.
