What are some good openers I can use to pick up chicks today?

I was thinking the pet shop line is too cliché. What else do you think could work?

Also, I want a same day lay, but a lot of these girls have dumb family plans, how do I convince them that they should forget about that crap and come over for a drink.

Lol bro are you serious. It's Christmas. On the off chance you're not trolling, go to the local bars and night spots. The people visiting from out of town that have dysfunctional families or alcohol problems will be the only girls at the bars. Girls with even basic level family values or no major mental issues will NOT be out on Christmas.

Your best hope is to go to a local bar and pick up some mentally fucked chick at the bar after 10pm tonight. If you don't already got bitches just go to sleep... It's fucking Christmas ya dunce.

Dude you must be lonely. Gaming on Christmas is extremely cheesy. Nothing is open except for gas stations and family restaurants.

I game as many nights a year as anyone on this forum probably, but I took the whole week off. Flying to Nicaragua tomorrow, so back in it, but relax, enjoy the holidays, and ramp it back up tomorrow if need be haha.

Unchained had the right advice, find the one or two dive bars that are open and go have a few drinks. Any girl out tonight is going to be burned out on family time and looking for some fun or just plain crazy. Either one should be a layup.

Probably doesn't apply to OP's situation, but it's worth mentioning that if you happen to travelling, it's pretty easy to pick up girls who are also travelling at this time. Sure, picking up girls on vacation is easier anyway, but the additional fact that they are away from their families/loved ones at Christmas makes it even easier because you can capitalise on their heightened feelings of loneliness. Worked for me when I was travelling in hostels at Christmas time a few years back.
