I know the international scene might be different, but in the US (midsized middle America city), I am seeing unfavorable male:female ratios and bitch shields sky high during the night.

Besides, the "quality" of these girls (hot they may be) is often very low (no goals, interesting hobbies etc) - "high quality women" like the ones Warren Beatty (for example) dated, just dont show up every Friday/Saturday to get wasted.

Day game on the other hand seems to be where its at. Grocery stores, gym etc. It catches the girl off guard (as opposed to being the 29th guy to hit on her in the bar) and I just feel it is so much more open and enjoyable interaction for both.

Then again, I honestly have never given night game all my might. I havent ever spent days on end sitting at a bar for hours studying and understanding whats happening.

The one advantage night game clearly has is the high density of hot girls in one place. That doesnt just happen at a shopping mall. BUT in my opinion, from a probability standpoint you are just as likely to win a date at a gym as a bar.

If I am wayyy off base for dismissing night game, could someone please shed some light?

PS Im not much of a drinker to begin with so I dont really have that much interest in bars to begin with.

I don't do night game. Never found it to be my style, and a huge waste of time for any man wishing to pursue a LTR/wife, not to mention cost. I far prefer social circle game within the United States, and social circle/online dating abroad.

Night game (especially in the United States) is a loud, expensive sausage fest with marginal returns with marginal women. Never saw the appeal. Nine times out of ten the higher quality women are to be had through social circle connections, not gaming in a bar or club.

I can't remember the last time I've been to a night club, and honestly don't miss it at all.

It can be great in some states and scenes. Find a scene with better ratios or don't bother. I went out this week in an American club and the ratios were fantastic, girls were hot and friendly.

However it was a type of club i don't frequent and far away from my current home state. But it makes me want to explore and find greener pastures everywhere. Was close to a poosy paradise.

I also leveraged existing girls and social proof so i already had a leg up. It wouldn't have been as fun if i ran solo without a crew. I had fun, no expectations, and went home happy. But i don't do it often.

Keep your eyes peeled for places that are 18+ with different covers for men/women and free drinks for girls on certain nights. The larger the club, the better. Check out clubs that feature different music than you're used to. Find the popular nights.

Go out at night for the party itself, not the girls. To put this in layman's terms, go out to a club for the music, to dance, hang out with friends, and if you meet a girl that's an added bonus. If you're not interested in music, dancing or hanging out with friends doing both, then it's probably a waste of time for you to go to clubs.

I've got lots of friends with very very high notch counts, and about 98% of their lays are from tinder. When they go out, it's just to get drunk and dance and have fun and stuff.

Night game veteran here.

I have gotten 95% of my lays from night game.

It is effective if you know what you are doing.

To find quality girls in the club you have to stay away from the "regular" girls who go the clubs/bars and get smashed every weekend. Those girls are just for notches and BJs.

The main targets in night game (if you are looking for quality) are girls who don't normally go out and after a while in the scene you can kind of see who just doesnt quite fit in. Maybe there just out for a night of drinks or whatever.

I met the girl I came to Germany with in a nightclub and I also met another girl i was with for 2.5 years in a nightclub. Like I said.. you just have to know what you are doing.

Ultimately, all of us will be better at either daygame or nightgame, few are equally well-versed at both. The reason we nightgame is because it's important for us, as men, to be able to adapt to whatever strange situation we find ourselves in. Sure, you can choose to play only to your strengths, but isn't it better to become more well-rounded by building up your weak points as well? I certainly think so. Even if you're better at daygame, you still don't want to be socially retarded at nightgame.

How commonplace are 18+ clubs in the US as the legal minimum drinking age is 21? Are the 18 year olds even allowed to be close to the bar?

Night game for me is knowing that I can go to any night club and make a bunch of new friends for no other reason than because it's fun being in that kind of a high energy environment.

I thrive on conflict and blaring music. If you don't thrive then get out. It's what I tell every weekend warrior that complains about bitchy girls without looking at himself or how he comes across.

It's partly an introvert/extrovert thing, maybe. I'm an extrovert with introverted tendencies, I guess..I like my downtime but I'd go nuts if I had to roll with the same small group of friends week in and week out.

It's not even that. Last time I went out a group sat down at the table next to mine after I was outside with 2 other people talking shit. The two guys I was with leave to go inside and get more drinks. So I'm stuck here with the group. They were trying to bum cigarettes, but I noticed that it was 2 couples with a spare chick.

I play around a bit and say as long as I can have some of their drinks I'll bum the people who asked a cigarette each. Now they keep coming out with the drinks and get the couples riled up a bit. Get the prude duo making out with each other swapping Altoids with their tongues. While the other two was just looking for an excuse to make out in public.

While they're busy I steal the last girl away from the group and run off. It's shit like that where I can work the crowd on the fly that really makes night game fun. I don't have to do it alone. I can always have a captive audience if not a new temporary group of people to experience it with.

Fuck all this last stand shit. It's all about being sociable.

To be fair, I'm not sure how common they are.

The place I was at had different color wristbands for under 21 which made the whole process for the bartenders easier. Tons of active bouncers. Very large club. Fit girls everywhere and only a few guys spitting game. Was fun.

I was going to post this in its own thread, but this is timely.

I have been reading various books about (psychological) cognitive biases. There are a number of these, Michael Lewis just published one called The Undoing Project, but before that you had Thinking Fast and Thinking Slow and even Black Swan. These are not game books, but geared towards psych or behavioral investing, but they have some truth in them.

Turns out there is one called "choice paralysis" where people have a bias to not make a decision when confronted with too many choices. For women, that's night game. Too often their buying temperature doesn't spike because there is always the possibility of a better offer. That is a gross generalization, and don't use it to avoid night game. But it explains why a lot of us do better at day game, or at least get better girls from day game.

Interestingly, even a poster who succeeds night game, Kirdiesel, recommends that you look for the girls who are not night club regulars, which I think is excellent advice and may tie into their lack of appreciation for all of the choices present.

I'm still thinking through the ramifications of this. It explains certain game ideas, like isolate. Another (for me) is to recognize that if you approach a woman in an environment where she is not used to being approached - for example, on the subway or at the grocery store - the effect is magnified because of the lack of choice paralysis. You are instantly unique.

I dont know anybody who's bad at nightgame who isn't bad at daygame. Or who's good at daygame who isn't good at nightgame. Yes most women who go out are unavailable- just like in the daytime. But there are some who go out to hook up with Hot Guys, and if you are one you will succeed. If you're constantly getting "bitch shields" at night then perhaps the problem is you not the environment.

It works in some areas and not in others. However, the bad ratio is becoming an increasing problem. Night game took off in popularity a little while ago once a lot of the game tactics around it became mainstream (and because people with less social acumen can get drunk to make it easier for them to actually approach).

Same thing could happen to day game but because Tinder-esque stuff is so much on the rise and takes way less effort than day game (and is a whole lot less pressuring, which is why so many men use it. Whereas your first approach with day game may feel like a mental nightmare, tinder or whatever you use will never feel that way whether you're new or not), day gamers may have lucked out. Day game can still be pretty saturated in some areas though.

night game has its advantages over day game. You get to take a girl straight home from the venue if you play your cards right, and that's a lot more natural of a move, where the day game equivalent would usually be a same day date (though it is possible to meet a girl with day game and take her straight to bed no date if you do well and get lucky. emphasis on luck on that. I've had it happen only once). The socialization is also different in many ways and you escalate a lot faster, which many men may prefer. Day game however fits much more easily into your day to day schedule and gets you access to girls that wouldn't be going to a night time venue. Some guys will also prefer DG the same way some prefer NG.

Night game is all about the moment, you can pull chicks and bang them in your car within 15 minutes, much harder to do in day game when the chicks aren't really on. More craziness can occur at night which leads to epic nights. Drinking is fun and loosens inhibitions.

This is exactly one of the main reasons. Lots of girls in one place, throw some alcohol in the mix and as one poster said, things will happen that probably wouldn't happen outside of the nightlife environment. Also, IMO, if you are going for dates from nightlife you are doing it wrong

I used to ask myself what the point was, too before I started getting success (banged 38 girls this year, basically all night game, 2 recent nights pulled 2 girls the same night, etc - this is with going out maybe once a week for the first 10 months of the year)

To be fair, most PUA types are not the type to fit in the nightlife environment. (Intellectual, brainy people who probably would rather read something than be at some crowded bar or club with blaring, often shitty music). Like the guy who posted something about choice paralysis. No offense or anything but 99% of the general population - probably 99.9% of the nightlife population - is not on that wavelength

Honestly, I don't like the environment that much (I sometimes like the music depending where I am), and don't buy the whole "go for the music and have a good time shit." No, I am there to get my dick wet, period; I would rather sit home and play video games for a "good time." That being said, I have basically trained myself to excel in that environment but at this point am trying to move away from it for health reasons.

I don't think you should necessarily do nightgame if you don't like it and have other options available to you (daygame, social, online, etc) for a few reasons:
1. Bad for your health (stay out late, probably drink and/or do drugs)
2. You probably won't be banging hotter ("8+") girls consistently unless you're good looking or have some sort in like status, table, etc. But that's probably true for everything
3. If you found PUA you are probably a thinking, introvert man vs. party boy type aka you will never feel part of that scene unless you're on something

So back to the point of nightgame. I don't have experience with daygame but as far as I can tell it's more of a meet and date then bang vs bang right there thing. Nightgame makes me feel more alive and human as I can do things that are probably natural but frowned upon in society like making out and/or feeling up a girl very quickly; let loose in a way that just doesn't happen in the daytime thanks to loud music, dim lighting, and substances; and of course probably have the quickest path to sex other than inviting some ho from Tinder over to your house

The biggest problem with night game IMO is not the nature of the women who hit up bars/clubs, which is pretty consistent from day to day and year to year, it's the number of frankly irritating, zero-game, drunken, perpetually orbiting, drink-buying, and cockblocking men who frequent the establishments.

Men are our own worst enemies. I'll take my chances trying to do an runaround with the "mother hen" than that flock of seagulls looking chode guarding the two chicks who've got him in tow hardcore in the friend-zone any day.

First of all, there are tons of distractions. Music is usually extremely loud (and more often than not, shitty) which causes problems with communication (often I have to type my thoughts on a phone, then show that to a girl). Also, you will be spending a lot money, and ruining your health in the long run.



The poster XPQ22 also said that many betas and wannabe alphas will also cockblock you, or even try to start a fight with you, to get female attention. For example, yesterday, I went to a disco with my hombres to celebrate New Year. Next to us, some fattie took of his shirt, and started dancing and pushing people around to get attention from the girls (probably). My buddy (a bodybuilder) told him that he will murder him if he pushes him again. That fatso wanted to start a fight (which he would lose), but, thankfully, security told him to leave, after my BB friend told him what he did.



In the nigh setting, many girls will be with their BFF, who will cockblock you. Sometimes, even with her BF. Add a smartphone (grrr!!) to the mix, and you have a perfect bitch shield. Even Casanova would struggle.



Not to mention that many girls(notice that I did not say all) want to have fun, and not being hit on. For example, I got shot down twice last night by two girls. Not only me, but anyone who approached, so I guess it was not probably me. Another day in the office



Finally, almost every girl deploys her full arsenal to maximize her beauty and hide their attitude. In short, you think you got a 9/10, but in reality...it's barely a 6/10. I heard horror stories about those things. From utter disgust (you bought an Audi and got a rusty Yugo), to situations that will ruin your life (you think she is nice, but instead, she is a bitch which has a bad habit of accusing people of rape. I mentioned my army buddy before).



In day game, there are less distractions, less noise, and you can see the true personality of your target. Also, you will have access to girls that rarely, if ever visit clubs (either they can't afford, or don't like them), and they tend to be of somewhat higher caliber. Almost all of my relationships were from day gaming (I took that to extreme when I was in the military. They have a thing for uniformed men). Although I still do well as a civilian, I miss those days!



That is why I prefer day game. Some do as well, some don't. And I respect that. As Chinese would say - de gustibus non est disputandum!

^ Case in point on Friday night I head out solo and end up at this spot I often end up at on Fridays, and lo and behold a chick I mention on a "Facebook game" post who has been on my eDick for months now walks up to the entrance at exactly the same time I do, like serendipity. She looks surprised and says "Oh wow, hey hun! Wow we got here exactly at the same time how about that?" She looks to only be there with one of her girlfriends and there I am thinking this is going to be the most straightforward pull in the world.

I go in about five minutes after her, get a drink and start looking around to see where she and her friend are at. I notice her at a table, friend is MIA but suddenly there are two goofy-looking dudes sitting in the booth next to her as she's sipping on a drink. It's literally five minutes later. "Oh hey! These are my friends blah blah and blah blah! We didn't come for the show, I'm just out for drinks with my friends!" Fuck, goddamn, jesus, where the fuck did these orbiters come from?

I come back about half an hour later after listening to the band a bit and getting blown out on approaching the one other girl who looked approachable in the place. She's on her third or fourth drink now, she's clearly lit up, leather jacket man and goofy bald man have been buying her drinks and are leaning in smiling hanging on every word this passable "6" is going on about. No game is being run. Nothing is happening. Nobody is getting laid unless some gay shit is going down. I admire the festivities for a few moments and give her a wink on my way out the door.
