Gary Sinse and poor (but not broke) Michael J Fox, they're the only two I can think off the top of my head, that have been married once and stayed married for over 30 years.

Gary Sinse was on Steven Crowder a year or two ago and I saw it, literally stays well away from all the bullshit and he said you have to make a point of it.

Fraser is sort of like Michael Biehn for his charisma, in that he was well known/visible and beloved....and then he was just forgotten because of personal troubles.

They say very few marriages survive the Hollywood gauntlet, much less when both people are actors. The marriages that do survive, either there is no public talk/ discussion of it, the other spouse is normal, and or they don't live in Hollywood at all.

I can't imagine how big of a racket divorce law is in hollywood and California for that matter.

Go into the situation knowing that you will most likely get screwed, I guess. That, or never get married.

My favorite was the John Cryer thing. She got custody so he had to pay her all kinds of money. She got so messed up even the courts had to admit she was an unfit mother and gave him custody. Do you know what her Child Support obligation was? If you guessed that he had to pay her anyway, you are correct sir.

I can't find that info on the Web. So are you talking about Jon Cryer the actor, or the character he played on "Two And A Half Men?"

Because that story sounds like something that would have happened to his character, Alan, who was designed to be a loser. If this happened to him in real life, it's pretty scary.

Divorce rape is disturbing. The judge had him pay $50K monthly, yes MONTHLY, to his ex-wife. Assuming the wife doesn’t work, maybe a guy should give her alimony for a year or two just so she can figure out the next steps (assuming she wasn’t working at the end of the marriage). Otherwise, how on earth can a court justify paying for her for years to come when the couple no longer has a relationship.
