What approach should I take?
So theres this girl I knew about 4 years ago. I havent spoken to her since just because we went to different high schools and whatnot. Well im back from college on break and I have recently been paying more attention to her social media and shes looking more attractive. I still have her number but I dont really know how to initiate conversation now. Also, I am very certain she is looking for a man rn, she tweeted she wants a man to "tighten up" and put her number saying "hmu". However she also put up a story that she was in hospital recently and is in need of friends rn (idk whats wrong with her)

Im not sure how I should approach hitting her up
I drafted this text
Hey its TheSinfulKing
I havent talked to ya prolly in about 3 to 4 years so i guess its been a minute. I saw your story and I don't know what you're going through, but I do know how it feels to be down and need a friend even if its coming from an unexpected place.
So I just wanna say I can listen if you wanna talk and I hope you get through whatever your going through

But on second thought this may not be what Im going for. I mean I'll help if i can or whatever but ultimately im tryna hit, simple as that. Ya'll mind editing that text into something better? Thanks

4 years of no contact? Why are you thinking about her and why do you even think this is still her number. Girl will not remember you at all, save your time, energy and stop thinking about her.

Dude, you're an internet stalker.
Stop it, go meet other girls : there are 3.5 BILLIONS of them.

Or find a double of her appartment key, enter when she's not home, take residue hair from her sink, and build your own sex doll with it.
Your choice.

RE: What approach should I take?
Usually I'm the good cop here encouraging guys to follow through with something even when the situation looks tough. In this case however there is no situation at all Amuse

It's been 4 long years she has her life and probably doesn't remember you now. The fact that you're not in touch with each other at all and you follow her on social media is a big BIG sign of some sort of obsession. It doesn't look good man.

What's ever worse is that you're asking us how to get her and at the same time you want to offer her a shoulder to cry on and be an emotional tampon for her. Which is completely false and fake as far as your intentions go.

the only way to "appear" in her life again IN NATURAL NONCREEPY WAY and have a shot would be to reconnect with your mutual friends, try to casually meet up with them, encourage them to bring her as well without asking for it, and then stumble upon her there and make it as if your paths just accidentally crossed again. Then start gaming her from square one. To me that's the only way you can make it happen. But to be honest this girl would need to be a fucking unicorn for me to go full spy mode and orchestrate something like this.

99% it's not worth it.

But...

OP, do yourself a favor and delete that draft as soon as possible. The last thing you want to do is come out of left field after years of no contact with an offer to be her shoulder to cry on. I'd feel more comfortable giving you advice if I didn't suspect you have an unhealthy infatuation with her. No matter how "special" you might think this girl is, you need to remember a few things:

. She's responsible for her own happiness. It's not your job to save her from herself.
. She's not one in a million, she's one of a million/Stand women on their heads and they all look like sisters.

Go out and get yourself some fresh, new prospects.
