RE: University of Minnesota Football Boycott, Title IX Suspensions
I also read parts o f the report...
The one part that is the most worrisome is when the girl describes not remembering what happened and then as time went on she started to recollect details of the night.
That is complete trash. She was probably fed a plausible story from some feminist man hater from the EOAA office. She probably remembers some of the guys because she talked to them at the party or danced with or did shots with them. It's kinda like when cops ask a witness if they recognize anyone in the line up and they pick some random dude because he's the guy they buy coffee from 3 times a week not because the guy attacked them.
Out of the 10 guys suspended there's probably a few of them that didn't even physically touch her...That most likely the reason why cops didn't investigate any further. 4 guys gang banged a girl who is on video showing consent. With them taking DNA evidence it's highly unlikely that their investigation would stop at only 4 guys if she in fact had sex "10-20" guys.
If these guys all fucked her she was screaming for help and screaming stop and no, then kick them out of school and throw them in jail.
The more time goes on the worse it will get for the admin at U of Minnesota because they may have won the fight but in the coming years some people may not want their sons to play football at the school because of this scandal.
RE: University of Minnesota Football Boycott, Title IX Suspensions
One thing that needs to end in our society is this feminist-pushed idea that a slut can get wasted and consensually gang-banged and then still have credibility if she claims that the 15th guy didn't get her active consent beforehand, therefore it was rape. I'm not saying that raping a woman of questionable virtue should be legal. I am saying that there is a big difference between grabbing some innocent woman off the street, dragging her into an alley and raping her vs screwing a drunk slut who is acting like a slut. Yes, how you act does matter. Where you are does matter. Whether you are demonstrably a slut does matter. No, you can't stumble around drunk in slutty clothes acting slutty with strange men and be given the same protection as someone who is at the library trying to study. The first person who says "victim-blaming" ought to have their nose broken for their contribution to societal downfall.
RE: University of Minnesota Football Boycott, Title IX Suspensions
Just the fact alone none of these guys are charged should be enough credibility for then to stay in the team. If your going to suspend them because what they did is unethical, they should suspended that slut as well.

Looks like the team caved. Sad, but not expected. I wonder what the school threatened them with? Probably were told they were never going to win because the school would tear down the football program before it told a woman she was wrong.
Quote:The University of Minnesota football team will play in the National Funding Holiday Bowl, reversing a threat to boycott the game because of the suspension of 10 players accused of sexual assault.
The players made the announcement at a news conference Saturday after a group of seniors from the team met with the board of regents, university President Eric Kaler and athletic director Mark Coyle late into Friday night.
"As a team we understand that what has occurred these last few days and playing football for the University of Minnesota is larger than just us," receiver Drew Wolitarsky said.
The school declined the players' request to reinstate the suspended players, something the team said it sought before agreeing to return to practice. The team will now go ahead with its Dec. 27 game against Washington State in San Diego after getting assurances that those accused will get a fair hearing next month.
Wolitarsky, reading from a statement, said after many hours of team discussion and speaking with Kaler, "it became clear that our original request of having the 10 suspensions overturned was not going to happen."
Kaler and Coyle made clear to the players, and to the community through statements Friday, that they had no intention of changing their decision after an internal investigation determined the suspended players violated school conduct codes in an encounter involving a woman and several players at an off-campus dorm Sept. 2.
"I'm very pleased that the football team has realized the opportunity to represent the university and come out strong in support of the victims of sexual violence," Kaler said Saturday. "They've come out strongly in support of the victims of sexual violence. I have promised a very fair hearing to the students involved and charged and I attend to have that be true. We will judge them very fairly."
Three players spoke anonymously to ESPN's Brett McMurphy on Saturday after the boycott was lifted. The players, who did not want to be identified because they wanted the statement to be the team's message, said they were literally up for the past 35 hours without sleeping, trying to reach a decision.
Poor kids.

That would be the ideal solution. Doing that fucks over ESPN, the advertisers, the big money, far more than the 2 million that Minnesota gets.
They'd also be the #1 national story if they do that, front page on Time magazine and could potentially generate some real dialog.
Can't imagine a group of 18-20 year olds actually pulling that off though, not with all the other adults around constantly pressuring them. But as Kona says, bet big on Wazzu.

Not gonna happen. One of two things happened here. Either:
1) The boys caved, like the silly little millennials they are, or
2) They got some concession what would evaporate if they did not settle. For example, I understand that while the school will still "investigate", their will be several neutral members of the body that adjudicates that investigation. While such an "investigation" is completely redundant, now that the police have concluded on the matter, the fact that it won't be the university's typical kangaroo court of feminists IS an improvement.
I suspect the latter. The question is, HOW MUCH of a concession did they get, i.e., how meaningful is it? Will the independent parties to the hearing be substantive, such as a retired judge? Or just another femcunt looking to destroy men? Will they get a vote?

This could've been something bigger than Duke Lacrosse and it now will be forgotten by 2017.
The only parent of these 10 kids who has a platform, Antoine Winfield, went on ESPN and said that all coaches and the athletic director have refused to talk to him. He is now on a hotel on campus and they all refuse to meet with him. Lets keep in mind this is the parent of a kid who generates millions of dollars for the program for free.
According to the police report, Antoine Winfield Jr. was never accused of having sex with the girl, but the girl pointed him out from a lineup because of his "blonde hair" and recalled seeing someone with blonde hair that night. What makes this so bad was he didn't even get the privilege of a kangaroo court! His suspension literally came out of thin air. They never even interviewed him.
There are ten kids whose named have been tarnished, and this is the only story we've heard so far since it's the only member who has a platform. Imagine what the other nine are like.
But you can't blame the 20 year old kids for caving. They likely faced threats of expulsion and never playing football again from intimidating forces who thus far have been their mentors--nine coaches, the athletic director, the university president, et al. If the bowl game were not played, then their offseason would be headlined by questions about what happens next year and whether their coaches have jobs. And with the coaches making million dollar salaries and the university making tens of millions of dollars per season, there's too much on the line to not bully the millenials into backing down.
If we want to gain anything from this then the athletic director needs to be fired. University administrators have yet to face repercussions for McCarthying 18 year old boys into graves and this was a golden opportunity. If they successfully boycotted this bowl game, the athletic director and his cushy $500k salary would've been gone.

Most women "looking for advice" are in reality looking for someone to validate their cosmic victimhood, because it's not really their fault, because it's never their fault. This behavioural trait isn't absent among men, but when we fail society cares not, while when women fail there is no shortage of comforting platitudes on offer from every vector."

1. its a victory there was a boycott in the first place. kudos.
2. due to the timing before a bowl game, TV, sponsors, and even opponent, the timing of the boycott exerted huge leverage. they only thing they might have done better was to hold their cards closer to their vest a few days longer. as it was, the other side was able to respond. we'll see whether these players caved or achieved something significant. however, in a week, the bowl game will have been played and they will lose all of their leverage.

If I was truly innocent and I damn well knew it there is no way I'd concede victory to those slandering my name in the press as some kind of ambiguous sexual assault rapist, even if I was twenty. Or how many people I trusted turned against me even after I was proven innocent, that would only strengthen my resolve. Twenty years old is grown man age, they're at college, this is their future, and their reputation. I don't understand, is football really that important? Is it more important than the truth? After college they're likely to never play again anyway. I don't consider this ultra brief boycott a victory and I doubt it'll do much. Duke didn't change anything and it was much bigger than this. Maybe Winfield can do something, he's a big name and probably won't stand for his son to be lumped in with this. I haven't read the report, though it sounds like some of their behavior was less than...tasteful. I mean, a gangbang? Eugh, not my thing at all. Still, if the police deemed them free and clear then the college can't act as if a crime was committed and try to expel them.

The recruit was under 21 and they gave him alcohol? That, right there, is enough to get them suspended. The school probably told the players that there is more involved than just the rape accusation. Still, this incident will hopefully make schools tread a little more lightly when it comes to Title IX cases.

At a meeting with urban school superintendents last month, Trump’s New York state co-chairman, Carl Paladino, characterized the Office for Civil Rights as unnecessary, calling it “self-perpetuating, absolute nonsense,” and saying all campus discrimination cases should be handled by U.S. attorneys.
“That would be disastrous for survivors and devastating for anyone who cares about their children being able to go to school without fear of violence or harassment or intimidation,” said Dana Bolger, co-founder of Know Your Title IX, a victims’ advocacy group. “The opportunity to learn is a fundamental American value, central to the American dream. We've got to keep supporting OCR if we want that dream to survive for the next generation.”
Calling sexual assault a “terrible crime,” the Republican platform stated that reports of sexual assault should be “investigated by civil authorities and prosecuted in a courtroom, not a faculty lounge.” It criticized the Obama administration’s policies, saying the White House’s “distortion of Title IX to micromanage the way colleges and universities deal with allegations of abuse contravenes our country’s legal traditions and must be halted.”
Trump could issue new Title IX guidance, based on the GOP’s platform, that would replace the 2011 Dear Colleague letter. Any new guidance would likely focus more on the due process rights of accused students and instruct colleges to use a higher burden of proof, such as the “clear and convincing” or “beyond reasonable doubt” standards of evidence, rather than the "preponderance of evidence" standard.

These interpretations by Obama are egregious extrapolations of Title IX’s original intent and have led (1) to the transgender bathroom issue by adding “gender identity” to the definitions in Title IX; schools have been told to “treat transgender students consistent with their gender identity.”
Obama’s interpretations have also led to (2) colleges/universities being bullied and intimidated into allowing sexual abuse cases to destroy students’ lives based upon perception, unproven allegations, and hearsay. A Trump administration may require these Title IX sexual abuse cases to be handled by attorneys who must produce a preponderance of evidence in court, giving everyone involved a chance to be heard under the Rule of Law.
RE: University of Minnesota Football Boycott, Title IX Suspensions
Ironic that an office identified as "Affirmative Action" & pro-diversity would sanction not-guilty, not even charged Black African-American football players for false accusations; false accusations which were a staple during Jim Crow.
It is argued that modern feminist theory only benefits the top 1% of women in the world, which is why that their policies tend to reflect negatively on the lower classes of society. Let me provide an example:
One instance is that the great number of university campuses encourage the idea that even though a woman and man willingly went into a bedroom for the purpose of enjoying sex, all it takes is that for that one second for a woman to only "feel" which automatically turns that sexual encounter into "rape", opening up a man to criminal charges far worse than what Jared Fogle was proven to done when he was charged for underage child rape.
On the contrary, when a female teacher takes advantage of 12-year-old male students to fuck her hard, feminazis either turn the other way, or even imply that the female teacher was the "victim" because of "rape culture".
But wait! Even during Jim Crow, a white woman could spread her pussy wide open for a Black African-American man to fuck her, but she can later claim that she was "violently raped by that N-word", & the Black African-American man is automatically subject to a lynching or outcast from society if he is able to flee the angry mob of white knights and angry people.
"Street harassment" is another trickle-down effect of Jim Crow, but it doesn't appear that the football players were accused of that.
Sure Donald Trump ain't part of that university, so don't blame him for that subtle racism. I am confident that even if I catcall Ivanka Trump, he isn't going to go batshit crazy like feminazis when they walk naked on the streets only SUSPECTING that men are looking at them while those men are legally forced to slow down at STOP signs and look every direction before moving....You get my drift.

The student body turned against them, and local media interviews were filled with SJW students ostracizing them.
They caved because they were stranded on an island.
From what I gathered via social media over the weekend, it seemed that the conversation shifted from guilt/innocence over rape to the morality of gang-banging some drunken slut.
I saw countless platitudes: "What if she was your sister? Would you still support them?" My answer: Yes, and I would fucking shame the shit out of my sister for allowing herself to stoop so low. And I would remind her that she is on the fast track to being a dried up, fat old crazy cat lady.

Too bad the coach is being punished for sticking up for his players. I hope he gets a good opportunity elsewhere.
Quote:On Tuesday, Minnesota fired football coach Tracy Claeys after a nine-win season. The decision, made by athletic director Mark Coyle, came in the wake of a sexual assault investigation by the school that led to the suspensions of 10 players.
Claeys publicly supported his players during a short-lived boycott of the Holiday Bowl, which reportedly ended after the players read the details of the investigation.
On Thursday, Claeys joined ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” to discuss his firing and the events leading up to it. During the interview, with reporter Kate Fagan, Claeys questioned the way Coyle addressed the firing in his press conference and press release.
“This all happened because of what happened with the boycott,” Claeys told “Outside the Lines.” “I’m fine with that, but I think that’s the way it should have been handled in the press release rather than try to come out with a bunch of negative stuff.”
In his press release, Coyle said he “determined that the football program must move in a new direction to address challenges in recruiting, ticket sales and the culture of the program.” He also mentioned Claeys’ support for the boycott, which came in the form of a tweet, saying that it “was not helpful.”
The Golden Gophers finished the season 9-4, including a win over Washington State in the Holiday Bowl. It was Claeys’ first full season as head coach. He served in an interim role in 2015 after Jerry Kill stepped aside because of health concerns.
Fagan asked Claeys about his tweet supporting the team and its boycott, and whether he would have tweeted anything different after reading the 82-page report released by the university regarding the sexual assault investigation.
Ex-Minnesota coach Tracy Claeys:
Quote: @GoldenGopherHFC

“No, I wouldn’t,” Claeys said. “In no way was the tweet about sexual assault. I would never do that. Anybody in our football program would never support that.
“It was all about how the report came about, the process to put the report together. That’s hard for the kids to understand that it goes from four to 10 players. It had been investigated by the law, and now on campus. It came up with totally different results. I understand there’s a higher standard there, which there should be for athletes.”
Claeys went on to question the process by which the Title IX investigation was conducted.
“Any type of sexual assault or sexual misconduct is serious and needs to be looked at, and you have it looked at and investigated by law enforcement and people trained to investigate that, and they come back with one decision. And it comes back another way in a process that our kids didn’t feel fair. I don’t know how that trumps an all-out police investigation.
“My personal belief, and this is just me on my own, I don’t know if we want a single office on any campus handling anything that would be like a felony-type of charge that will change a kid’s life forever. I’ve seen some of these things on transcripts going through recruiting and transfer kids, some of the things that are put on these transcripts when these kids go through these investigations, these kids have no chance. And there was never any type of criminal charges filed against them. When schools get these and see what’s on them in admissions, they’re hampering these kids for life.
“My own belief is that shouldn’t be handled on campus when you’ve got a chance of ruining a kid’s life.”
