Post-truth has a synonym; Liberalism.

"You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that's what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant... oh, fuck it." -Monsieur Gustave H, The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Here are the other candidates considered by Oxford Dictionaries. What sort of people use these words often?

If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

You must not have followed the election in the U.S.at all. Alt-right was used by the radical left on a regular basis as a derogatory term in the attempt to denigrate conservatives.

Now that I think of of it, at least half of these new words are an attempt by liberals to inject their view of the world into society (post-truth, alt-right, glass cliff, Brexiteer, woke, and Latinx).

So the answer to your question of "What sort of people use these words often?" is . . . liberals. Stated another way, deluded people with too much time on their hands who wish to re-make the world in their own image.

Glass cliff = a woman ascends to a leadership position where the risk of failure is high.

I expect to hear this one being bandied about in female "intellectual" circles soon. I need a witty retort.

What they don't mention in the definition of "glass cliff" is that the most "challenging circumstance" leading to a high risk of failure is having a shiela in charge.

I will make sure not to use any of these words.
