Aside from Sanders.
There still does not appear to be a single candidate that the majority of registered Democrats would otherwise want to vote for.
It's still simply a case of voting to vote against Trump for the DNC crowd.

Harris, Booker, Warren & all the other no-names. None of them are inspiring enough, in & of themselves, to motivate the DNC crowd.
Then add in the demented desire for PC ideology & it's still doubtful that the DNC would go with a stronger candidate in the form of Sanders.

That's interesting. America does prefer a taller candidate. Not to nitpick though, but that chart is way off. Trump is nowhere near 6'3, and Clinton was nowhere near 6'2.

You're not seeing what liberals on social media are posting about Buttgig. He's got that combination of being "Millenial" and gay to appeal to the young ones, while he's got "prestige" to appeal to boomers and coastal white collar workers.

The Yang people on Reddit of all places are not taking him seriously at all. If anything, they are straight up hostile towards him in some cases. I think Sanders is the one to be worried about. He sort of runs in Yang's lane and has actual devout followers as oppose to just donor class supporters like Harris. And he is polling pretty strongly already and 2016 proved that he could be a contender. I'm hoping a medical issue given his age will take him out eventually; he fell in a shower recently and falls at that age can be symptoms of other problems and/or lead to other issues.

I think UBI has the chance of being great for Americans, or the absolute nail in the coffin of tyrannical control.

Free college only benefits a certain amount of people, UBI effects everyone, but is the much more radical position.

Note I am NOT saying he is actually the most popular candidate. I also don't really give a shit who the most popular candidate is because the one that DNC insiders like the most will be anointed. That's also very possible. The main challenge to that is that Obama was a lifetime actor by personality (people who literally spend their entire lives acting out an image for public consumption). Buttgig absolutely is that as I would expect from any Ivy League management consultant. Kamala Harris is not as evidenced by her tendency to say off the wall things.
