I live in the Liberal Capital, San Francisco.

The day after the election, November 9th 2016, I put on my red "MAGA" hat and rode my bicycle around the city..

I was expecting to get some dirty looks and weird comments.. I didn't get much of anything!

Few people even had the guts to look at me.. (SJWs are pussys!)

People avoided eye contact with me.

I sensed that most liberals were in a state of shock, they were having trouble processing the results of the election.. They all figured that Trump didn't have a chance..

I asked a few girls how they felt about the election and they said -- "now is probably not a good time to talk about it"

A few guys nodded at me (Trump supporters)

My point is -- The vibe in San Francisco was mostly shock and disbelief.

It really is a "bubble" politically.

Then, the stupid protestors came out.. They blacked traffic, they smashed windows.. BUT, DID ANY OF THEM VOTE???

I want to make a few points about San Francisco..

We were not always about the SJW narrative.

As recently as 2008, parts of San Francisco voted against gay marriage.. Prior to that, San Francisco voted against legalizing gay marriage. (just to give historical context)

We were always left leaning BUT WE NEVER EMBRACED THE SJW VICTIM MENTALITY until recently!

It wasn't until the tech boom of 2000 that San Francisco became a breeding ground of SJWs

"Educated", "elite", young professionals started flooding the city with their modern brand of social liberalism. Most of them came to San Francisco from other parts of the country. They pushed us from slightly left of center to all the fucking way left! They took it too far! Everyone wants to be a victim!

"Victim" has become a NEW political identity! I don't subscribe to it! My city has been over run with elite liberals! I mean, we were always liberal but "elite liberalism" is a much deeper and darker version compared to what we were before! (hippies, artists, iconoclasts, soft counter-culturists) (that is what we were known for before the techies moved in) (I'm not complaining about the business boom, I'm complaining about the victim mentality that has become prevalent)

A few thoughts from a native San Franciscan..
