People don't normally feel guilty if they know they did nothing to feel guilty about.

I give people the benefit of the doubt, and assume they have good instincts. Maybe I'm wrong sometimes, but usually their gut is right.

It's one thing if you dont care, but since you asked this question that means you do care.

A girl should always have an inkling/suspicion that she's not the only one on your mind, but you should never confirm her fear. Not only does this give her a direct venue to vent her frustration on (like in the OP), it also kills all your aura of mystery, which is necessary for the real player lifestyle.

Not to mention that "hell hath no fury..." shit. If this girl is mentally unstable (most are) and truly obsessed about you, dont discount the possibility of her trying to ruin your life.

Your business with a girl should be strictly between you two alone. Even then, the most succesful guy I know, he played it such as, after repeated bangs, the girl is still asking herself "Did I actually sleep with him?" I didnt see the point of this back at the time, now its all clear.

It gives you invulnerability to go bang other girls, in secret, and protect yourself from payback from both scorned chicks and angry betas.

You might play the social proof game with one chick hanging off each of your arm, but the fornication itself should still be under the name of discretion.

Why I don't really feel guilty: because there's no such thing as a "single" young Western woman who's in any way sexually active, in the modern era.

You realize this pretty quick when you spend any time meeting up with girls from OKCupid or Tinder. They text you their number and they all come into the meet acting like they're brand new, just looking for that special someone to fill that place in their life. If she likes you, she'll probably keep her phone in her purse most of the night to give the impression that you're the foremost thought in her mind.

It's all a load of bunkum, pal. There are always other dudes. Even if she likes you and it "works out", do you think she's going to stop hitting up those other guys in the first couple weeks or months when you're still an unknown quantity? Hell no she isn't.

And she'll still be in touch with them from time to time while you're "exclusive", if you choose to do that.

And when she gets tired of you, or you're ambivalent about giving your commitment, she'll be back to playing the options again surely as night follows day.

And sometimes you're the guy she's texting out of the blue, and sometimes you're the guy who's out with his friends while she's texting someone else out of the blue. I think most of us have played the parts at one time or another; if you bang enough women it would be hard for it to be any different.

So while a guy may feel guilty for gaming women, keep in mind that they're always gaming you - first, middle, last. I guess it's up to you how deeply you want to stare into the abyss before you become uncomfortable.

For my part the way that I deal with it is that even though the outline seems cynical, I try to give some girls the benefit of the doubt and play it straight. If I get my heart broken by "girl game", then that's the breaks and I try to accept it as just a "cost of doing business" of having relationships with modern women without becoming a straight-up sociopath. I never signed off on any contract anywhere that stated that I'd be immune to unpleasantness and pain in my life.

Thread title is somewhat ambiguous. I think OP felt some guilt about causing the girl's hurt reaction.

As for actually gaming chicks, no there shouldn't be any guilt felt, ever. Any man who has been on the receiving of chicks' machinations, will know that you would rather game them, than the other way around.

There have been times when I've felt guilty. I've gotten in my head like , maybe i should just be 'myself'. Maybe i should 'share' more. 'Open up' to her. Maybe I should tone it down or reply to texts faster so she doesn't have to wait.

Then I wonder,

Would she ever apologize for her natural advantages? Would she try to make herself less pretty to make me feel comfortable? Would society feel bad for castrating men all over the globe? Game made it clearer than ever to me that men and women are opposing forces in life. It's a push pull thats necessary. When I first started I may have felt guilty but now? Fuck nah. NO. Nope.

Game saved me from a lot of costly decision and my decision to 'game' select women allows me to manage my most important resource which is my time. Women are the market/stock, and my time, along with my efforts, are my capital. Gaming allows you to know where and how you get the best return on your capital. I could never apologize for that.

This is what I thought the thread was originally about.

This is a bit of a tangent but, you're actually doing a disservice to women by not talking to them. By talking to her you're giving her an opportunity to interact with a cool dude. Women are for most part incapable of moving things forward. So you're not just doing for yourself you're doing it for her too.

When I think of some of the fulfilling relationships I've had, I realize these wouldn't have happened if I had bitched out and didn't make things happen. Then I realize all the times I did bitch out and potential memories I missed out on, when opportunity arises, I can't afford not to go for it.

That said, I have felt guilty a few times in my life with girls crying at the foot of my bed, being upset at me over the phone when I told them I don't want to see them anymore, etc. No one wants to see a girl cry and pity herself. Ultimately it was not my responsibility to tell them how to feel. I did my part to not lead them astray and deliberately promote a false idea that I was going to be "their man." When asked about what I'm looking for or where a relationship is headed, I'm always honest and let them decide how they want to carry on.

I feel guilty if/when I lie to girls. I'm not a good liar and it pains me to do so, but sometimes it is necessary prevent making a girl feel like shit for no reason.

I look at it like practice for marriage. Figure out what works for you, tone it down, control your energy. You can't be in game mode your entire life, and I treat it like an exercise in developing social skills that just happen to extend to the opposite sex. For the most part, I don't feel the need to prove thyself.

I fail to see how one can feel guilty for 'running game' on someone, but then, maybe we all have different definitions of what 'game' actually is.
