Robert De Niro. respected actor and infamous tough guy, just went off on Trump. I like many of his movies, but that old bastard is only 73 and looks 100. Anyone see an appearance he's done lately? Years of smoking have butchered his voice and he's very low energy.

"I'd like to punch him in the face" Sure thing, sport. I don't get why all of these actors insist on trying to act tough in real life. Sure the act works around their yes men who are paid top dollar to kiss their ass, but Trump, at 70, would put him in a coma.





EDIT: There's another video of him yelling about Trump. It's the one where he talks about his autistic kid which he blames on vaccinations.

I think the post would be more appropriately titled "Internet tough guy issues threat via video."

It has less to do with his role in movies than the simple fact he knows Trump isn't going to fight him. If he were in room alone with Trump, would he still say that? Of course not.

There are all kinds of internet tough guys, and most of them aren't famous actors.

Heh. I remember seeing in my YouTube video feed, a bunch of celebs being filmed making anti-Trump statements --I guess warning people against voting for him.

I think one was of Robert Downey Jr. Yeah right, like I'm to take advice from an ex-coke addict.

As if DeNiro could punch Trump in the face, he's a shorty. Sure, he was tough guy film legend, but the only flicks he's been in the past decade have been rom-com fodder. Sure, he played mobsters and boxers and whatnot, but acting is pretending. He's just a pretender, and has probably never been punched in the face for real his entire life.

DeNiro fought in real boxing matches to get in character for his role in Raging Bull. He won 2 out of 3 middleweight fights. If there was a fight between DeNiro and Trump, my money is on DeNiro.

I think Robert's statement is retarded, but saying retarded shit doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to beat the crap out of Donald.

Though it's kind of pointless discussing this. We have the same chance of Trump agreeing to fist-fight DeNiro as we have of Clinton agreeing to an un-moderated debate

Unfortunately politics are not decided by who can fight better. That would make politics much more interesting.

Interesting. Deniro stepped out of line with the elites a while ago when he tried to endorse/release some sort of anti-vaccination documentary. They pressed him hard on it and he recanted, and the documentary wasn't shown.

I think he got a reminder to 'get his mind right' and stepped back into line with the other shills.





PS. Coolhand luke is a great movie for the times we are in.

To be fair he toned it down by clarifying he didn't mean he would literally punch him in the face, just that Trump needs to understand how he makes people react by the things he says.

Much as I like Trump he does engage his mouth before he thinks at times so I think its a fair point.

As an aside I would have taken De Niro as a red pill guy based on the roles he has played particularly in the early and middle stage of his acting career - Casino/ Taxi Driver / Goodfellas/ Godfather pt2/ Raging Bull to name a few.

I was disappointed to find out otherwise, like they say you should never meet your heroes they will only let you down.
