I hate to gang up but Im with Vicious. King Sol is essentially saying game doesnt matter. It doesnt matter what you say to a chick, it is just going to be a pump and dump? Why in the world would men need to learn game if it didnt matter? I dont follow.

The way I interpreted King Solomon was that he advocates lying, cheating, or doing whatever it takes to get the bang if all you want to do is hit it and quit it.

He wasn't saying not to run game; on the contrary, he was saying tight game involves doing whatever it takes to get the bang.

This is the story I'm going with. It can be played open-ended, depending just how liberal the chick is. For the ultra liberal ones, I can talk about sitting with the warlords for peaceful outcomes, which is just what they wanna hear. Samseau has it right.

People were debating the morality of not wanting to lie to chicks (per the thread title - 'need a cover story').

I totally understand needing a cover story, of course. My point was, who gives a shit how much truth the cover story has?

I think the discussion of cover story ideas is great. Lots of good ideas here. I was just surprised seeing dudes sweat the morality of a little deception. I am glad that game, in many cases, precludes and eliminates lying- especially the Apocalypse opener.

But if you are going to try and bed chicks who would despise you to the core (feminists) if you revealed your true self

..... then I think you better plan on some lying, or skip them entirely.


I will add that if I were to be gaming some feminists... I wouldn't sweat the cover story. I would tell them that I am a Dominant who subjugates women, and a sadist who enjoys adding a little pain to the pleasure. I might even add that the feminists are so busy hating that they haven't stopped to think about how good it will feel for me to spank that ass... and what an honor it would be for them to serve me and receive my attentions.

I realize this may be over the top, but WTF do I care? Seeing feminist reactions to an unapologetic Dom is truly entertainment, and in most cases, may get a much more favorable result than a guy might guess.

In general, it's always best to be vague about what you do for a living. There's a few job descriptions that are suitably non-committal, but can cover just about any situation.

"I'm a consultant."
"I'm in finance."
"I'm in logistics/operations."

If you're getting pressed more than that, you can take it to the next level of detail:

"I do consulting on business development/financing/economic development less-developed countries."
"I do logistics for a multinational energy/construction/
"I train people on governance/security/humanitarian assistance in post-conflict countries"
