The Sky presenter is quite the master troll! Great job he did, pointing the female MP's (she's shadow secretary, lol, I thought she was the cleaning lady: square, graceless, ill-dressed, clueless...) lack of professionalism, subtly mocking her. This is a good video to watch or show to any man when they think they have found the smart woman who isn't like the others. I mean, she has to be intelligent, right, to have achieved her position?

Her default position is to make a counter accusation concerning the man's attitude.

This is the same thing Sarah Palin did when she was asked what papers she read. She accused the interviewer of asking gotcha questions.

And this unholy disaster here. How in God's name can she consider asking the name of a prominent member of a foreign government who she will be meeting soon a pub quiz?

When that fails to deter him, she just ignores his questions.

She, for all her education, has no clue how ridiculous she is making herself look.

The whole idea that this is sexist is disproved by the interview itself. He asked her if she knew the name of France’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development and she said she didn't. This proves that not only was it a good question, but that it was a good question, specifically for her, because she didn't know the answer.

How can anyone not see that everything she said from that point on was a diversion from her incompetence?

Er ... no. The Labour party, which she represents, has all-female shortlists for some constituencies to artificially boost the number of female MPs. Affirmative action, essentially. Plus, I don't think you need to be particularly intelligent to be an MP; you just need the right connections.

Sure, she got the job because vagina. But if she's supposed to be involved with foreign policy and international geopolitics as per her position, shouldn't she at least know the very basics? Basics like who the fuck she's going to talk to and what the fuck they stand for? Or does the Labour Party only expect little Gidget to go on nice tourist trips, do some shopping, and somehow find time to talk to a few really nice and agreeable foreign men from foreign governments?
