I agree just think that there's SO much potentially funny material out there they could have used but didn't. Instead just used the same gag over and over again all episode. I found it boring and predictable, and apart from the point you mention lacked the subtlety that I know the SP guys are capable of giving us.

There's enormous potential for great visual gags, with Hillary's head-bobbing, freezing up on stage, collapsing on 9/11, and subsequent lies and cover-ups. If the election passes and they don't touch on it at all, you'll know they are complete pussies too scared to push the envelope like they did when they were younger.

Seeing as a bunch of people on social media have been posting about the upcoming Power Rangers movie: Member Power Rangers? I member!

I'm not sure if Cartman has some master plan or not. Since he's a bully, I think he has jumped on the PC bandwagon since it currently holds the bully pulpit. Remember, he's Tom Bradying this whole thing, so he can claim the moral high ground while simultaneously treating everyone else like shit, which is exactly what SJWs do.

They took a lot of pot shots this last episode. The kids holding their fists in the air was a clear shot at the BLM football players doing the same thing...except the kids had their dicks out at the same time, which paid tribute to our fallen comrade, Harambe, may he rest in peace.

I liked that they showed the dilemma P.C. principal was in.

Kind of like when muslims clash with gays, P.C. heads explode. Kyle's dad made a throwaway reference to "locker room talk" when describing his trolling. That might lead back to the election in the next episode.

Writers want to keep the election race present within the story throughout the season. They can reactivate it and write about it any week they choose.

This season is not really catching fire so far. Last season set the bar extremely high, though.

Yeah I'm not really sure the direction its going now. It seemed like they were going somewhere with Cartman (ulterior motive perhaps?). I appreciate the fact that south park has kept up with current events and trends in America, however, I think the plot has become too entwined with the election a lacks a bit of coherency. Or maybe, perhaps, they had a plan for the remainder of the season regardless of who won (wouldn't put it past the writers).

I really didn't get the point in this episode, it seemed like an empty filler. Matt has run out of things to make fun of and is running on fumes.

I was expecting a remake of the "obama" won episode, with some major shitlording and an appearance by Harambe and Martin Shekeil

Kyle getting a called a pussy by his dad was great though.

They jumped the shark this season. They had the chance to throw some solid jabs and continue the shitlording they've been known for, but instead all they're producing is a story line that's all over the fucking place. This is the problem with creating episodes on a weekly basis. You can't have a running story line if you don't have any clue as to where it's going. That's why the first few episodes seemed to fit together, but now it's going off the rails.
