Yeah, I am talking about Sitch. I just checked and it seems he is like 5'9" - 5'10", so he is not short. My bad.

Edit: After looking around a while, it seems he might not even be 5'9" - 5'10". Celebs lie about height, so he might be a little bit shorter than officially listed.

Interesting, all my friends from Latin America know about the show and love it! Had a few hit me up for how the new season is as it hasnt aired yet in some places.

Really? None of my Brazilian friends besides the ones who have lived in the states know about the show. And from what I hear they only pulled one italian girl back to the house the whole season. I even saw a video talking about how it was just a lot easier for them to pull american girls and didn't have much luck with italian girls.

i've never been exposed to this guido stereotype before so it's all been new to me.

i think the show is great, the guys at least, the girls less so

i don't really understand the criticism on this forum on the show and the cast, the situation in particular. they've done very well for themselves. if it were easy to be a reality TV star and make millions, wouldn't everyone do it. fact is that even though a lot of people may not like the situation, you can't deny he's got charisma.

the reason i think the show is so appealing is that the guys (pauly, situation and ronnie; vinnie less so) have an almost zen-like simplicity in their life. the only thing they're into is GTL, eating and girls of course.

if the cast consisted of the average type of guy out there, there would be nothing but boring work related talk, discussing politics, talking about insecurities, "does this girl like me", "is my life/career working out" - i.e. the kind of stuff the average, frustrated person spends their time on

That's the whole thing... watching those guys to me feels like watching a bunch of six-year-olds fighting over a juice box.

A couple other things:

1) These shows are not very "real." Google around, there are all sorts of reports of scenes being pre-planned and even having second and third takes, as well as the other random people being hired extras. The irony with most reality TV is that there's very little that's real about it.

2) Look on YouTube for The Situation bombing on the Donald Trump roast. It's absolutely cringe-worthy how bad he embarrasses himself. First and last time that guy will ever get a gig on a real stage. He's talentless.
