The Best Place for a "First Date"
I want some opinions on where everyone thinks the best place for a date is after you've already done the hard part and gotten the number or the kiss. I went out to Sushi the other night on a "first date" I guess you would say. It went over perfect, because you don't just go for sushi to eat, you go to drink sakki and all that good stuff. I also found it a goo environment because mostly everyone else was drunk and some people next to us were talking loud about some funny stuff, which gave us some good diolague to spark up. Make her pay for her own plate though, because that shit is expensive!

meet after dinner, bar. Roosh has some good advice on this - you should use it.

The homeless shelter? You get a bed and a free meal. You aren't a REAL PUA if you can't pull this off.

RE: The Best Place for a "First Date"
Guys are asking for silly stuff like should I wear red or blue, or should I go out Friday or Saturday. Coffee or cake. Beer or cocktails. Smoking or not smoking. This is like asking wondering whether a red car goes faster than a blue car.

I could take a girl to coffee (mistake), demonstrate lower value, therapise her, buy her drinks, etc... everything thats against all the PUA rules, and I will still go further than some guy who hasn't got any social skills. In fact, once she gets to know me, all that won't matter at all.

The game is really about developing social skills so that what you do is FUN, with a girl who you find fun to be around, and then getting laid happens. No matter of window dressing will replace the hard earned mistakes you will make, the essential little trickle of confidence you will get from this or that interaction, the bravery you feel when you actually approach. This is slow work. There is no magic solution. It takes internal work. If you want to ask a decent question on this board it should relate to areas which really need work, like approach anxiety, performance anxiety, self-validation, dealing with rejection, dealing with jealousy etc...

my 2 cents.

Bar. Or even better, a lounge with couches, it's more relaxing. I don't do coffee dates anymore because they rarely end in a kiss.

At the same time, I try to keep it cheap by limiting it to 2 rounds max, and an appetizer if we're hungry. 20 bucks or less.

Where I live, bar is a general term that means clubs, lounges or pubs. Clubs are a very bad idea. Lounges are a very good idea. Pubs are for guys only.

I'd second the idea of a bar, but would add one other thing...

Roosh has mentioned this a couple times, but I can't emphasize how important it is to find a good bar/lounge where you feel comfortable, know the bartender, some of the other patrons etc. Not to say you should be Norm or Cliff from Cheers or whatever, but being comfortable at a good first date spot is something worth your time.
