I can see how it would work out. But I would think this approach might be better for night game. In the scenario above, I dont think that invading her space by tagging along with her to meet her friends would do much good and they were a fair distance away so following her to meet her friends kind of lacks frame. But on the other hand, I could have ended the interaction on a higher note instead of a neutral one.
