So, there's a place where I do most of my pickup work. A hipster bar.
A lot of crazy shit goes down at this place, but I've been getting vibed lately by some of the staff for making out with different chicks at the bar.

At one point, the bartender actually intervened and asked my isolated target where her friends had gone (they went to the patio and she stayed and made-out with me). She left to go find them .. my jaw literally dropped when he did this.

I've overheard bartender friends of mine complain about people making out in front of them at the bar. This has become a problem for me because I use spider-game: I stake out a spot by the draught fountain and wait for girls to saddle up next to me instead of going and blowing my intentions by opening girls on the floor like all the other guys.

I don't want to shit where I eat.. but I have the most luck at this location. Anybody encounter this or have a solution?

Become friends with the staff and "grease" them (tip them well) as the G would say.

I always tip generously at my regular hangouts. A bartender can cockblock your shit so fast it's not even funny.

Wow.. good call. I usually order water with my cans of beer and only tip a buck.

But..

This is from the same guy who yelled at me about getting buybacks faster by doubling the tip.. but I did that and they didn't get me buybacks, so I was like fuck it.

I typically go with 20% as I was told that's a good tip in the United States. I understand they make more money on bigger tabs, but if I'm out alone my tab's bound to be tiny - a drink or two and some water. Many times just water - which is free, yet I do my part and tip a few bucks. I didn't think this was very common, but it's gone mostly unacknowledged.

Plus there's always a cover to get into these sausage factories. I'll go read the G's post about lockin' a place down.

I have my favorite club locked down. Just follow G's advice.


Grease the bouncers with ca$h.

Grease the bartenders with cash/gifts.

Grease waitstaff with gifts.

Grease owner only with gifts.



I haven't greased the owner because I haven't needed to... the bouncers let me skip the line, the waitstaff is always helpful, and the bartenders jump to me regularly.

I also order soda water/cokes', but once in awhile I order a beer for 5 bucks and tip 5 bucks (so it's double the tip, making me look generous even though it's only $10 dollars total).

Just find a different place for awhile so you're not over using this one. If your results dip dramatically, then go back. You sound like you have enough back-up plans to rely on in case this happens, so there's not much risk.

I mean, if you have the cash flow to 'grease' everybody, I guess you could go that route, but I think it's fucking stupid that I should have to pay extra for the supposed 'privilege' of drinking in someone's bar, ESPECIALLY in a dive bar, college bar or any hipster bar.

Simple solution would be to move the girl (isolate) to a booth or table prior to make-out. Why would you hang out by the draught taps to escalate? There's tons of activity happening here: drinks being poured, dudes yelling orders, bartenders cock-blocking you. Why make it hard for yourself?

because posting up at certain locations on the bar is advantageous for meeting and opening women.

Being a generous tipper helps a lot. When combined with being genial and getting to know the bartenders you can have a place locked down in one night.

Having places locked down makes it much easier to go solo. The bartenders will actively help you get girls by introducing you or at least giving you social proof.

When at a new venue chat with the bartender when getting your first drink. Easiest if you arrive before the place is packed. Then tip him $4 or more on a $6-$10 drink. After that just tip normally, $1 / drink or whatever. Having a quick conversation, introducing yourself plus an initial big tip means that the bartender will remember you for the rest of the night. Repeat a few times and you're considered a regular.

Memorise the whole staff's name. At my regular spot I know all the bouncers and all the bartenders by name. I've never greased the bouncers, yet I never have to stand in line and can get anyone in because I always greet them and chat with them.

This also makes it easier to get guys thrown out if they're trying to pick a fight.

Well I guess a was presupposing that if the OP was making out with a girl, then they had already met.
