Planning a week-long trip to LA sometime in the winter (December or January).

Whats the best spot to stay? I was thinking DTLA.. (before I was considering WeHo, but switched to DTLA) but open to hearing your thoughts.

There's a thread on LA already... Search and scroll. I would choose W Hollywood or somewhere in Santa Monica than DTLA or West Hollywood. It depends on your budget, girl preferences, and what you plan on doing while you stay out here. If you still plan on staying in Downtown I'd choose Standard Downtown or Luxe Downtown, LA Live can be a shithole Mon-Wed.
