When the 10 point scale is based on women wearing makeup you can't really call her a 6. A 6 wearing makeup would look worse without her makeup than Taylor Swift does. Most girls look like puffy washed out versions of themselves without any makeup, especially past 20-21 years old.

It doesn't take a lot of makeup to dramatically improve a girl's looks if she has good skin. TS would look quite a bit better with nothing but some eyeliner and mascara, it's not like she needs to cake on foundation. With light makeup she looks fine, I'd chat up a normal girl looking like this:

Of course that has been lightly airbrushed (and probably has some subtle color tweaks) like all non-candid pictures these days so she looks artificial. I don't think she looks her best all dolled up in candid pictures from events either, most celebrities don't.

She has never appealed to me much though; she's not ugly but something about her face doesn't do it for me (eyes maybe). She's also too tall and looks gawky in pictures with other attractive women of normal height. WB but wouldn't try hard to get if I wasn't after her money or the story.

She is overrated with makeup on as well.

There are foundational features that make women attractive on the face.

Thus such as eyes and the spacing, nose bridge, cheek bones, etc.

Taylor Swift does not have any of these. She was always a plain jane masquerading as a sex symbol. Women boost her up for that exact reason. Many likely know they could compete with her head to head looks wise if all things were equal for one night.

I promise you in any College campus you can find some quiet unassuming girls with glasses burried in a library who would blow Taylor Swift out of the water of water. All that girl would need is some better makeup and a nice dress but it would not be even close.

So in the end. Taylor Swift was always a low grade basic woman. If you know how to spot it she would never appear that hot to you. She isn't ugly, not close, but is far from sexy.

I think dudes are too used to face paint to know what a real woman looks like.

An important skill to have as a man is enhancements deduction. I.e. mentally deleting all the fake enhancements a woman has made to herself to get down to the genetic core.

A few things I like to do:
- When looking at a girl from afar or in a picture, cover the bottom of the heel with something. Then focus on the hip, not the waist as it can be obscured by wearing a skirt high etc. This gives you a more accurate picture of leg length & height.
- Give extra attention to black. Black clothing is used to deemphasize negative features. (but as an aside, sometimes also positive features, like a big butt, when they are not locally desired)
- Pay attention to shapes on the face. The more make-up, the more suspicion you should have (obviously) and thus the less attention you should pay to colors. Shapes and positions, not colors.
- Look at the back of the side of the face. Here you can see the interface between the skin with makeup, and the skin without. This is especially amusing with some korean girls, where the tone can sometimes change from almost paper-white to dark yellow.
- If you suspect plastic surgery, it's most likely plastic surgery.
- If tits don't appear to have any heaviness or weight in the clothes, but still draw the eye, assume padded bra.
- Be disciplined. The part of your brain that responds to apparent shapes isn't the same as the part that makes the above deductions.

This is not me joking, Taylor is an 8 with no make up. If she was a nobody and I pulled her from a club in a drug and alcohol induced haze and had wild monkey sex with her all night then fell asleep and woke up next to the first picture with no makeup-I would be pretty happy with that.
