Men, they just aren't funny. And their voices are shrill, a line of attack that is surely original to these intelligent women, and not simply lifted from the men they are criticising.

The fact is there are so few female comedians they must categorize themselves as female comedians. On the flip side, there are so many male comedians we must categorize them by their comedic style, their schtick. This is not an accident. No one is forcing women to be unfunny as a group. If these harpies would just listen to Christopher Hitchens, their lives would be less frustrating. Women are naturally not funny. They don't have to be. Men don't like "goofy,"wise-cracking, or crude women (note: these does not include good-humored women). There are few things less attractive in a woman than snark or sarcasm, because they certainly are not witty.
