Think of it like this: You (your body and your appearance) are the product, game is marketing/sales. If you focus only on your sales, you'll be an incredible salesman...with a shitty product.

On the other hand, you can be a jacked mofo dressed up in a custom suit, but if you can't hold a 5 min conversation with a hot girl, you'll still end up going home alone.

You need both to improve your looks and to learn game.

Regarding your personal style, there are several manosphere blogs out there who deal with that topic. Masculine Style is one I found via Danger and Play. There is also Male Fashion Advice subreddit. I'm only now getting more serious about this part of my life, but I'm already seeing better reactions from girls.

Trust me on this: Nothing will help you more with girls (game aside) than building some muscle and dressing well.

The most important thing you can do is to learn to speak without talking.

And I don't mean sign language or telepathy.

You can't read how to do this in a book or on an internet forum.

You have to figure it out on your own and it's going to take some rock solid self-esteem to pull it off or you're going to come across a fucking weirdo.

To add on

1. Talk to everyone interesting you can immediately see on a day to day basis. After meeting some solid people you tend to be able to spot them in the day to day. It's easy after a while to pick up on the patterns.

Worst comes to worse you've improved your conversation ability if they aren't(and no they won't all be custom-suited up or flashy).

2. Talk less listen more. I only can't shut up when it comes to guys I meet from here.

3. Live life and learn to do interesting things by yourself. It makes for great stories later on.

4. Make friends on the fly. If you're ever alone, you can always find company. Humans aren't meant to be permanently solitary characters. Deep down we all want some company so don't be shy and greet strangers(your mom was wrong about them).

5. Read a lot. It's just good.

6. If you see problems in your life fix them, but never constantly feel worried. Needless worry makes people a bore, stresses them out, and ages them. This requires a degree of self-honesty that I even have trouble putting in.

Logistics! Super important. A few years back I was living a 15 minute taxi ride away from the center of my town, now I'm living in the center.

Don't underestimate the power of plausible deniability - go back to your place to fill up on drinks between the first bar where you met her and the second bar you want to go to. Once at your place, escalate and she'll probably want to stay.

My game has improved but I've never had a wingman of such a caliber as my apartment.

Not even moonlight do it full time, sales reps usually make the largest salaries. In addition closing is key to banging chicks...

Seconding affirmations, working out, living a cool life, basically everything here.

For a new suggestion: hiking. Not like hiking the Appalachian Trail over a couple of weeks or whatever, but doing a short day hike. At least in NY/northern NJ there's plenty of trails that are within a couple hours' driving distance of NYC. I've done it a couple of times this summer and it's a lot of fun.

It builds your confidence; if you're a city guy with a knowledge worker desk job, it takes you out of that element for a while. I used to have a pretty intense fear of heights, but after going up a couple of mountains you don't care so much anymore. Physical stuff like that just clears your mind wonderfully from the bullshit and politics of office work. Learning to be alone (at least in a relative sense) is important; the meditation thing you referenced touches on that too.

Builds friendships, too. I trust the guys I've been hiking with a lot more than guys I only know from work or some bar or concert, and they've shown me they warrant it.

I always wanted to take acting classes or try improv comedy

I do have extensive public speaking background that helps with pacing, vocal tone and eye contact

All of these things help you with your improvisational skills & being comfortable talking to new people which obviously translate

Dancing definitely is good. I started taking lessons about 7 months ago. I stopped taking lessons about a month ago, I now have enough confidence in myself to dance without somebody choreographing shit. These days I frequently get approached by girls who compliment me on how "passionate" i look, and shit like that. I've also lost a ton of body fat and have gotten back in shape since I started dancing. Strongly recommended to pick up dancing as a hobby.

Watch videos from confirmed seducers/PUAs so you soak up some of their practice, ease and ability.
Practice actual fights like boxing. When you have been trading blows, girls are much less "frightening" than they may appear if you are not accustomed to violence at all.
Practice some dialectics/rhetorical exchanges with Leftists and try to beat them down through mocking them, pointing out their contradictions or shortcomings, this kind of stuff. It will give you some mastery of a dialectical conversation and ability to maintain a frame while piercing someone else's frame, which is quite useful for seduction.

Some others mentioned this but I wanted to emphasize that getting out and doing active things in nature is one of the most important things you can do. It can be anything: camping by yourself in a wilderness area with no services, hiking the Appalachian trail, doing an arduous pilgrimage, skydiving over the North Pole, swimming with sea turtles and dolphins off Baja California, running a marathon, completing an Olympic distance triathlon, sleeping in the middle of a civil war battlefield without permission, rafting a fairly technical river with some friends instead of a guided tour, surfing a remote beach with a tough break and no life guards, participating in a team wilderness endurance race, etc.

When you challenge yourself in a natural environment in which there are fewer safety nets, it really brings your masculinity to the surface and generates testosterone. When you walk into a social setting after experiencing those challenges, and add your game knowledge to it, it gives you a strong presence and attitude that is hard to fake.

You just need to develop an alpha attitude. You need to be able to walk into bar with a presences about you with a sort of 'dont mess with me look' obviously not going overkill with it. Women want a man that is stronger than other men so having this good. Try going into a bar and have some staring competitions with your fellow competitors, and even get into a fight. Over time you will become alpha and this will rub off on women a great deal and you will see success.
