Over the past three months I managed to build my account up to 30 000 followers which I think is not too bad. Last night for the first time I started direct messaging random girls. What I did was that I searched for places (in my case Kiev) and messaged the hottest girls with less than 2000 followers. From the 10 girls I messaged three replied back. One seems promising and gave me her WhatsApp.

Question for the experts here (and sorry if this was talked about already but the thread is quite long so I did not read every single post):

What is the best opener for the random message approach? I tried some random line asking about the weather. Not sure if that is the best one.

I stopped using Follow Liker now and also unfollowed all people who I am not interested in following natural.

Before I stopped I had settings like this but started more conservative:

Follow Limit: 10
Daily Follow Limit: 600
Delay: 25 seconds

I also bought Likes for my pics and also bought mentions. I feel that these mentions also helped a lot. The niche I am using is the travel lifestyle niche.

I just tried this as an experiment and I still need to see if I can leverage this to hook up with more girls. I am still a bit sceptical but reading Vinnys posts I think it can work when you meet girls in real life and they validate you because of your IG account.

I took them myself. I spent the past five months in SEA so there were a lot of opportunities to take nice pics of beaches, yachts, nice hotels etc.

@superschalk that's incredible. I finally made it to 4K after about 4 months. Started at 700. You must be using a lot of hashtags on your pictures, mind sharing which ones you've found to be best?

I've started using Snapseed to edit my photos. It came recommended to me by a photo professional. It has a learning curve but there are tutorials on the app and the internet with how to properly edit. Big differences already!

Go to the top hashtags in your niche and look at all the related hashtags that come up. Also check what tags the top posters in your niche are using.

Having said that, hashtags won't help you if you don't have good, engaging content. I have just about 1700 followers and I regularly get 400 to 500 organic likes each time I post and have them showing up in top posts for hashtags with 500K+ posts.

Oh I never thought of top posts for certain hashtags, just locations. I'm sure once you get in those high quality hashtag top photos it amplifies quickly. I'm normally get 300-400, but I could see paying for likes on a photo paying off if it kept you sustained in the top posts for a while.

I got a few PMs on my IG strategy so I thought I share it with everyone since its not a real secret.

Before you start your account you should do the following things:

1. Decide on your niche
2. Research the main keywords for your niche and research the main hashtags
3. Your username and your screen name should include your main keyword. So if my niche is travel my username would be travel.superschalk. Once you have reached your follower goal you can always change your name.

Then I setup FollowLIker with the following settings:

First week:
Follow settings:
Follow Limit: 5 to 10.
Daily Follow Limit: 100 to 150.
Delay Follow: 60 to 65 seconds.
I ignore private users too.
Like settings:
Like Limit: 5 to 10.
Daily Like Limit: 100 to 200.
Delay Like: 60 to 65 seconds.

After one week, I bumped up the Daily Follow Limit a bit.
Follow settings:
Follow Limit: 5 to 10.
Daily Follow Limit: 300 to 400.
Delay Follow: 60 to 65 seconds.
Like settings:
Like Limit: 5 to 10.
Daily Like Limit: 300 to 400.
Delay Like: 60 to 65 seconds.

After three weeks.
Follow settings:
Follow Limit: 5 to 10.
Daily Follow Limit: 400 to 600.
Delay Follow: 20 to 25 seconds.
Like settings:
Like Limit: 5 to 10.
Daily Like Limit: 400 to 600.
Delay Like: 20 to 25 seconds.

Please note I did not come up with these settings. I took these settings based on suggestions from the Blackhatworld forum and these settings worked fine for me.

In the first three weeks I only posted one or two pics per week. After week three I started buying likes and mentions. As ManAbout already said if your pictures get a lot of likes they will start showing up on top of the relevant hashtag searches. This will bring you a lot of likes. I also found that buying mentions helped to grow my followers although I can't determine exactly how much it helped.

I also unfollowed manually everyone who I am not interested in. I currently only follow about 40 people. As a result of this my I lost about 2000 followers so I am currently having 28k followers which I am still fine with. If I keep losing followers I might need to start following more people again.

Regarding this I have a question for the experts here who use IG to hook up with girls. 90% of the people who i follow are hot girls. Are other girls actually checking your followers? So would it be better to also follow some guys so that my profile does not look like I am just following hot girls?

Also a quick update from my direct message experiment. I messaged about 30 girls from Kiev so far. 8 of them have replied. But with five the conversation died down after two messages. One girl gave me her WhatsApp will see how that goes. The other two I had a long conversation with but one is married and the other one has a boyfriend and she also has pics of her in expensive hotels in France and Italy, so I guess she also has a sponsor. The problem I have is the fact that these girls obviously do not see IG as a dating platform, so I am not sure how I can get this working for now.

Something I've found helpful lately is if you are staying somewhere for a while, to add the hashtag of the city you are in to the list of hashtags you are targeting - i.e. #kiev. You can also do #kievgirl or other variations. I've had decent success in Buenos Aires with local girls adding me back, then you have a direct line to their inbox.

@Superchalk: Be real, getting 30k Followers in 3 months with the setting you are describing is impossible. You are either exaggerating the amount, have more aggressive settings, or forgot some extra few months. If you buy 20k prior beginning I believe you.

Did you or did you not buy any followers?

Amount of followers is extremely important, but it is 50% of success, the quality of photo album and how well you display the value is another part.

Hey Vinny, I'll purchase your instagram critique service soon. I'm a busy man, so whatever I can do to makes things easier and faster, I'm good for it. 30k in 3 months equals 330 new followers per day. I have yet to see such a high amount of followbacks on a consistent basis. With his very low settings it is even more unrealistic.

@superschalk: if you really did not buy any followers, you should elaborate more on the mentions you bought because FollowLiker alone didn't give you those 330 new followers per day. That's for sure.

What kind of follower increase per month do you think would be realistic? I noted you got to 20,000 over 2 years, does that mean about 1000 per month is realistic or have the Instagram algorithms (i.e. for detecting spamming/fake accounts) changed so much since you started that we should set our sights on more modest goals nowadays?

By the way awesome thread, I've read it all the way through. Convinced me to download Instagram, although I really need to work on developing enough lifestyle value to broadcast through photos before completely taking the plunge (at which stage I'll likely purchase a consultation from you).

My account was two months old when I started with Follow Liker. I just checked actually I started FollowLiker four months ago not three monts ago sorry about that.

I never bought a single follower but I bought a lot of likes and mentions. There are some good suppliers on the Blackhatworld Forum where you get access to a management panel and you can manage when and how many likes and mentions you can get.

With a reasonable settings 1000, 1000, 1000 you can steadily grow 150-250 followers per day without facing any temp bans.
That is 20k in one year.
I am currently at around 21k. I move around a lot, go to places without steady internet and after I hit 20k I stopped the software for a while, as really for the sake of girls you don't need that much more.

1000 per month is a realistic average growth rate including the fact that you need to slowly increase your settings by 50 a week and grow from 250 follows to 1000.

IG is very strict for new accounts so if you don't have an account start one now so when you plug an automation it is already a bit matured.

I only had handful of days when I grew 300+ that is with a dope album, carefully picked niche and more aggressive settings 1k, 1k, 1k.

I think some company who does shoutouts, just buys followers for you to justify the shout out. Which is cool, but those will not be real people. Fake bots who will not like your pictures, will not comment and will never ever blow you off or let make sweet love to you.

@ManAbout: After FB bought IG and after they changed the logo, IG became more and more evil. Just like Facebook. In future I think if you will want to be in the tops for hashtags you will have to pay.

Cool, that's encouraging. Yep, I started an Instagram account a few days ago so it'll be mature by the time I start developing it.

I know from reading about your experiences that having 20,000 followers has helped your game. Do you recommend that as a good ultimate goal to aim for? Or are the specifically game-related benefits of going from 5,000 or 10,000 to 20,000 marginal? (as opposed to the other benefits of a developed Instagram presence like hotel freebies)

If you spend $58 on Followliker to automate the following/liking grind, why shouldn't you spend another $58 on likes/followers/mentions to automate it even more?

Why not buy likes/followers/mentions if it can get you to 20K followers in 2 months instead of 2 years?

Will a lizard you instagram close look to see whether your followers are genuine and flake on you if they're not?

I had a look at the list of services and you can buy cheap followers, but you can also pay more for high quality real likes/followers/views and pick from which countries, e.g., Russia, USA, Asia, etc.

I haven't done it, but I'm thinking about it. Has anyone else experimented?

So I just did a Story to see what the analytics were like. I can see the username of every single person who viewed the story! And since it's ordered chronologically, you can roughly estimate the time it was viewed. I can imagine girls reviewing this list carefully to see which guys are thirsting for them.

If your account is new then i wouldn't be buying followers unless you want the ban hammer.
For already established accounts, buying followers/likes etc I can see the benefits.
FL is great for building new accounts and maintenance.

Either way, really depends how fast/impatient someone is to getting a large following.
