He was an alpha preneur? And a mental health coach? Sounds like he had delusions of grandeur and needed a mental health coach.

At what point is this the persecuted people rising up against the agents of an oppressive state? Isn't the point of the whole 2nd amendment and the justification of selling weapons like the AR-15 so that when police start unjustly attacking citizens, the citizens can protect themselves? When lawful citizens are being killed by officers with debatable justification, at what point should support fall from the officers and to the citizens?

Except...in fact there is no uprising by the persecuted people.
Now I'm realising that the BLM movement is probably a front, but others mentioned this weeks or months ago.
BLM was likely set up to be a catch-all domestic opposition group, with the goal of serving as a pretext for establishing an ever more powerful police force. As for other suggestions for BLM's purpose, such as the postponement of elections / Obama third term as POTUS, and gun-grabbing and civil war or domestic unrest in America, well I shudder to think.
Either way SOMETHING sinister is about to happen.

This is a wet dream case study to add to rhetoric for them.

"Push for full disarmament of the civilian population to stop another Baton Rouge... "

It would start something like that.

Edit: & nobody civilian will benefit from the police now being pushed ever more to treating a busted tail light stop like its their last.

You hit the nail on the head.
Something coordinated is taking place at the moment.

If a grown man “identifies” as a woman, we must accept that he is a woman.

But if a grown man identifies as a member of the Nation of Islam and murders three cops, that does not make him a a member of the Nation of Islam; it makes him a right-wing extremist gun-nut.

Got it.

Amen. I came around to that conclusion in 2000 when the Bush-Gore Florida Recount was going down. It really hit me that the chasm between the two political sides couldn't be bridged.

15+ years later and look at what's going on on a daily basis here - shit that you saw happening in "banana republic 'X'".

Screw you and your Yankee attitudes. As a native Texan who has traveled a lot, the South is overall less racist than the North.

Blacks have been moving to the south in droves the last 10 years. How racist can it be if they choose to move there.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/natio.../21818127/

Many Blacks enjoy living in more homogenous communities, which is what you get down south. There is extreme segregation down South, and if you walk into the wrong neighborhood with the wrong skin color someone will either call the cops on you or the "locals" will escort you back out. I crossed the wrong street in Atlanta and unknowingly entered a Black neighborhood, and a bunch of unemployed locals hanging out in front of a convenience store escorted me back out. The dude said to me as he walked me out, "Now you guys stay on that side of tha' street and we stay on this side," and I seriously did not except race relations to be that bad in the South, but there it was.

I've never heard of anyone being kicked out of a neighborhood up here in the NorthEast, and we don't have Blacks hunting down White cops. We don't have any large BLM movements up here either. Mostly Black Liberals with their microaggressions.

As for the Whites, you'll never see a confederate flag anywhere. They bend over backwards for non-Whites but of course many Whites still prefer their own yet stay politely silent about it. My experience is 20% of Whites have heavy preferences for their own, 60% are fine with a some mixing, and the remaining 20% would be cool hanging out with nearly almost all non-whites.

The idea that race relations in the North are comparable to the South is frankly ridiculous and doesn't stand up to scrutiny. The #1 reason non-Whites don't live up North is because of the harsh Winters; the darker a person's skin the less likely they will choose to remain in a cold climate.

One thing I do notice is that Southerners tend to go into denial about their own communities or shortcomings, I call it the Southern "hamster," which also comes complete with their own history of the Civil War (i.e. the War of Northern Aggression) full of contradictions and inconsistencies. But in spite of this, I really like the South and the people there anyways. The flaws do not overwrite the friendly and loving culture.

Sheriff David Clarke goes HAM, Don Lemon looking extremely weak, in one sentence he cites a study to bolster his point and in the next breath he mentions it was a small sample/many people didn't find it credible.

He's never going to be on CNN again! hahaha

EDIT: just realized this has been posted as its own thread.... probably deserves it for the brutality the Sheriff imposes on Lemon.

Any governor or president who allows this is not worth his salt, and is only asking for more and more escalating trouble.

Even George Washington recognized this. He knew it.

Read about the Whiskey Rebellion (1791) or Shay's Rebellion (1786-1787) and how he handled it. He had a state of emergency declared.

This is starting to look a lot like a an armed insurgency or an insurrection. It should be crushed with maximum force now, before disorder spreads. This stuff is like a virus. I've seen this mentality before in Bosnia and it can happen here. Don't kid yourselves. Agitators need to be taken into custody now.

.
Every criminal gang is in effect a declaration of sovereignty that impinges on the sovereignty of government.

Left unchecked they will eventually challenge the government itself. In Mexico for instance Drug Cartels kill journalists that report on them, kill soldiers and policemen who oppose them and assassinate politicians that do not accept bribes and do as they are told.

The government then loses control of part of the country to those criminal gangs.

To deal with them. They should be annihilated completely or be ceded territory. Anything in between maximizes bloodshed and suffering.

Prisons should be abolished as much as possible too since they are breeding grounds for criminal gangs and terrorists which pose an eventual security threat. Replace it with Execution,Fines and public corporal punishment.

Leadership is irrelevant at this point. The idea that Obama can turn this around is false, even if he wanted to, which he doesn't.

If he gives a subtle nod to the lunatics then they will be emboldened by it. If he decries them then they'll label him a house nigger and continue regardless.

The only way I can see this madness being de-escalated is if we see a large black advocacy group that stands directly opposed to BLM. Not only that, but it would have to get similar attention levels from the media which is also unlikely because they're the main agitators of this savagery.

What can you say?

Quote:I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, besides the will of evil.

I'll say it 'til I sound like a broken record. Don't get wrapped up in the madness. Determine what you are you going to do yourself.

Go and do it.

p.s. Speaking of which, if these kind of events happen any more frequently then many of us are simply going to have to make the choice to turn off the television, the computer, and ignore the news lest we end up doing literally nothing but follow it.

New Orleans is a violent city if you walk down the wrong street after midnight, regardless of your race.

New Orleans does have a solid black population.

Southern LA does have a solid redneck population.

Most racist areas of the US?

Nah. The blacks and whites have mingled for generations in New Orleans. There is a kinship based on culture, food, music, discrimination (of blacks and Cajuns), corruption, geography, and tragedy.

This POS murderer was from Missouri.

Despite the racial/cultural frictions that sometimes occur in the South, there is a STRONG sense of pride in the place itself, regardless of one's skin color.

Get your ARs while you still can folks.

By AR 15 80% lowers CASH as fast as you can from local dealers or online with gift cards.

Worry about finding someone to machine it later, or buy one with jigs and drill bits.

https://www.google.com/?ion=1&espv=2#q=a...0%25+lower

For those who are considering getting some 80% lowers- You should not have someone else machine it for you, never say you had this done, and definitely don't ever say you provided this service for someone else.

Recent rulings from the ATF regarding 80% lowers have made it so that anyone who does this, even just provides access to their equipment, even once for free, can be considered to be "engaged in the business of" manufacturing firearms without a license because it's not their personal firearm. In turn you could be in some bad shit as well. The days of "build parties" and machine shops renting use their CNC/presses for this are over

Complete the milling out yourself. You can buy a decent drill press for $70 from Harbor Freight. As long as you did everything yourself you will be good as far as federal law.

Make sure to check your state laws on matter though as well, some states have more regulations on top of the federal.

It's silly and ridiculous technicalities, but not worth ending up in an interview room with the ATF over.

Americans are dreamers too

RE: Police officers shot in Baton Rouge, 3 dead
Warrick Dunn, form NFL running back for the Atlanta Falcons, and high school football star in Baton Rouge, who's mother was a Baton Rouge police officer murdered by armed robbers:

Quote:My heart breaks for the the families and law enforcement officers that have lost love ones. I have been in similar shoes - it will change their lives and leave them all reeling with questions for years to come. It is a shame - so many officers who are out there on the front lines have tremendous heart for what they do. These acts of violence don't solve anything and if my voice can add to the movement to stop it - then I’d consider that a good thing. I struggle emotionally to understand why and how police officers are being targeted in the way they are.

The reality of our world is that there is a lot of unrest in our communities, particularly where police shootings are happening. It takes me back of course to when my black mother was ambushed and killed - by a black man. And all of this comes at a terribly personal time for me. Next week, I will attend trial for a re-sentencing hearing for my mother’s murder which happened 23 years ago. I hate to even think of what this entire ordeal will cost our community but I know - it is too much. And even though my Mother lost her life all those years ago, the men who were tried by a jury of their peers have been kept alive by a prison system that has seen to their every need. Something that was denied to my Mother.

We can’t just sit around and talk about how horrible all this is - we have to do something. And that means it ALWAYS starts with the individual.

One of the things I am doing is taking the role of fatherhood very seriously so I can raise a son who makes a positive contribution. I am striving to be there for him emotionally, physically and intellectually. I want to give him something I never had because the statistics proves it makes a difference when a child have an active father in his or her life. And we have to do more to build empathy in children so they have a hard time treating one another badly. It all starts with kids so we all have to care about kids. Especially kids at risk for never learning how to socially and emotionally relate.

Another thing we can all do is stress to our elected leaders that we have to look at the issue of guns in our country with serious eyes and intent instead of a political stand-off. And then we have to give justice a chance to work. When people are intentional about their use of guns against others - we have to make sure the message that crime doesn’t pay - means something. Today I wonder about that because from my view with my mother’s trial, justice had failed our family but I believe we can and must do better.

We also have to challenge the status quo and ensuring that the laws on the books are enforced. Of course I know there are officers who do not do the right thing - that is true in every profession. But when murder is a planned event - the rule of law should matter and loopholes or sophisticated lawyering have to stop. Why have laws if we aren’t going to enforce them?

I feel close to this subject - it has touched me very personally. I speak for no one other than myself and I support law enforcement. I also support the community of Baton Rouge because they were there for me and my family. If I could have any effect, I’d ask the community to stop the violence, to cool down and to come together to figure this out. There is nothing we can’t do but we have to work together to make something positive come from yet another tragedy in my home town.

One thing this last fortnight has made clear.

There is mercifully an obvious lack of competent and motivated white supremacy groups in America, because carrying out a false flag attack implicating blacks would currently be (forgive the turn of phrase) like shooting fish in a barrel.

This is just unbelievable.

Since when do hucksters, demagogues, and hustlers like DeRay and Al Sharpton get an audience with the Chief Executive?

Since when do these guys have a say in how national policy is determined?

Even if the president is just doing this for show, it sends a terrible message.

It's worth mentioning that John Lewis is also in the picture. If there's a credible source on civil rights in this country, I'd go with him any day of the week. Also, this pic is from 5 months ago. It was a brief meeting with leaders from the black community during African American history month. Having been to a number of these meetings (not quite at the presidential level) they're not quite the format for policy decisions. Sharpton has also met with Bush and Clinton, nothing new there.

If you are going to impose your will on the world, you must have control over what you believe.

Jeezus, wearing a puffy vest to meet the President of the United States? Fucked up politics and race-baiting notwithstanding, at least the loathsome Al Sharpton shows up in business garb. Deray has no sense of decorum or common sense, although I guess given the garbage that he spouts out, I shouldn't be surprised. What an asshole.

And it's not like he can't afford a suit:

Quote:On Monday, the Balimore Sun reported the 31-year-old agitator Mckesson is making a handsome salary courtesy of Baltimore school district taxpayers.

In his new role, Mckesson is earning a salary of $165,000 as the district’s third chief of human capital in two years, and manage of a budget of $4 million and 56 employees.

After being appointed last month, Mckesson said he was ready to get to work.

“At its core, this role is about finding great people, matching them to the right role, and helping them to develop and experience careers in the service of our kids,” he said. “I am excited to return to city schools … and to continue doing the work to ensure that every child in Baltimore City receives a world-class education.”

As QC said, the picture just sends a terrible message because of the news media’s go-to narrative related to white-on-black police deaths.

Did they talk about black-on-black crimes? No. It's simply not a part of their narrative.

That picture also gave us a hint at how divided this country has gotten under Obama's leadership. Even though the news media people and their liberal cronies know the facts, they just need to promote the appearance of injustice to keep black people in a state of grievance.

As for Al Sharpton, the guy is nothing but a race hustler.
