Ultimately I agree with much of the other posts here. Assuming this is "intentional," the goal is a globalist/fascist state that is bent on world domination. The first step is unifying the Western Empire under centralized control. Easiest way to do that is to use Islam, a collectivist religion.

If it is unintentional, then we have to say that the elites are basically stupid or careless, and are using sheep to further their own self-interest and disregarding the consequences. I find that fairly hard to believe, however. I would guess that this is an intentional
plot to dismantle state sovereignty under a unified government to benefit a select few, while the rest of us become slaves.

If we are under one collective government and ideology it is easy to manipulate us and bring us into part of the hive mind. But the ultimate, ultimate goal, once we are truly connected and brainwashed, is to put us into virtual reality, and we will only be used as tools by machines to sustain the machines, which will have control over us and only keep us alive because they need us for their survival. Somehow, the 1 and 2-D demons want to gain access to the 3-D physical realm in order to gain power and reality. Elon Musk, Alex Jones, and Julian Assange, amongst others (namely, the Bible), have alluded to this. It's also essentially the plot of the Matrix.

If you are the elites, and your long-term plan is global government, then you first have to equalize the poor in Asia and Africa with the relatively wealthy middle classes in Europe and North America. So you import people from shithole countries to make Europe in North America shitholes.
