If we were to be honest, i think it may be one of three things:
1- Subconscious inferiority complex towards white europeans because of past colonialism.

For me, things don't reach the level of "uncomfortable" until the middle-end of November. To be honest, this cold thing about Montreal is over-exaggerated. Everything is heated here and it's a city where millions have been living for a long period of time.

Completely agree. Montreal is no walk in the part but it not as that difficult either. I would say it is one of the easier cities.

I am really curious as to what is going on with our Tunisian friend and Rekk'd. I would like to hang out with you guys and figure things out but unfortunately I cannot do so before so until the end of October.

I can totally relate to what Rekkd is saying, its a daily occurence on all of me and my friends trips.

That's true , but all they get is 5, 6 or 7s at best. They're all coming from the poorest regions and are struggling financially. I can't speak about all Montrealers but I know in Saguenay and Quebec city if you are arab or indian looking you need to have a very good understanding of quebecois culture and have a pretty good french quebecois accent. Guys who are born here and are haitian, indian, asian or lebanese/syrian have no issues at all. Think Sugar Sammy for example the comedian. Same for latinos.
