I'm pretty sure you're only allowed to open carry in Texas if you have a CHL. You can carry in your car, by law, so long as you are headed to a destination (like the shooting range, deer lease, etc) or back home.

Obama has to comment on this. He commented at 12:42 AM Warsaw time. Its now roughly 8 AM there. He came out with tons of facts on minorities being unjustly targeted. He didn't mention anything about them committing a disproportionate amount of crimes. All he did was inflame victim gripes.

The longer he takes to comment on this, the worse he looks.

This belongs in another thread but rumblings about them attempting to federalize police forces nationwide seems to all the sudden have legs.

Also, this incident has sold me on the Orlando conspiracy of which I was skeptical. This has been what...3 hours old and there are multiple videos, immediate police action and immediate press coverage.

Orlando was how many hours, with zero to little video, no police action and lost transcripts.

In some places it is. Freedom may be under attack here, but we're still alot more free than just about anywhere else in the world.

OK I understand the right and need to carry a handgun or a shotgun. But whats the idea behind allowing military grade assult rifles? Are explosives, grenades, anti tank weapons etc also allowed or where they draw the line?
