DPD says one suspect cornered.

Edit: All cars are going to the station. No cars will be on patrol. Only serious crimes will be responded to. Per the scanner.

I was watching the news and I just watched the people being interviewed.

I can honestly say with the exception of one guy, I would not even think about being around those kinda people who were protesting. They are the rejects of society, those who cannot make it or are too stupid to know anything worthwhile.

One thing I can say, is that before I saw the picture of that black guy, I knew what he was going to look like. I see those kind of guys everyday. Dressing poorly, wasting money on stupid things, walking around with nasty women, etc.

Those shooters are cowards and bitches.

Obama has done this to our country.

He has fostered distrust between the races. He has fanned the flames for years.

As a result, many in the inner cities got an attitude because they were influenced by Obama.

They resist police in the neighborhoods, they do not obey the cops, they are defiant.

The cops react as they are trained and tragedy (deaths) happen to those who are disobeying, resisting or reaching for guns.

Sure, there are some inexcusable actions by the cops ( the Minnesota shooting looks to be one and there are others). Accordingly, those officers and any others should be brought to justice if it is shown they committed crimes.

Those rare cases where cops act like vigilantes aside, there is an undeniable pattern, an increase in this since Obama has taken office.

Is this a coincidence? It's possible but I don't think so.

He, the President, set the tone for this. His comments and actions over the years influenced much of the behavior which have lead to so many police shootings.

Likewise his administration and attorney General helped set the tone.

This President is dangerous because he says things and these things have consequences. His surrogates follow suit and the message percolates down through the citizenry.

A man with such power: He does not know what he is doing. What he has wrought upon our nation.

Or, much worse, he does.

I'll agree with this, but I don't think the problems have only come from what he did. The problems have also evolved out of what he neglected to do.

For every time he said something like "Trayvon could have been my son" he didn't attend a slain police officer's funeral. And there were many fallen officers he could have honored. He's also never uttered a word -- as far as I know -- about Kathryn Steinle, the San Francisco woman who was murdered by an illegal who was supposed to be deported.

By omission, this sends a message. Not a good one.

Word is that pictured suspect didn't do it. He turned over his rifle to cops when the incident went down.

Apparently the man in the camo has turned himself in - so most likely not the shooter. The other suspect was in a shootout with SWAT, now in custody.

The DPD are saying that this was most likely a very well planned attack with two snipers triangulating shots in a kill zone.

I heard about a potential bomb threat too - suspicious package/device - found near the shootout with the second suspect.
