Hey,

i just came back from Kiev and i met some girls, who where working in china and they told me, that foreigners can get into the clubs for free.
i got curious about it and through a friend i met another girl, that told me that one of her friends (male) earned money just by going to the club and hanging out there.

I dont have any plans for the winter and i liked the idea to earn some money and game even some chicks.
Does anybody has some experience with that or even have a contact and also what can you earn on average a night?

I am in 27 and from germany, so i would probably fit in into what the promoters or clubs are searching for.
I also read that they can rent you also for other events or things, so the company looks more professionell.
Also what would be the best city for that?

In Beijing white people get into most clubs for free and you can get free drinks. You need to get on wechat and join the groups on there. There is always someone plugging a night.

My experience with these "rent a white face" gigs is that they don't pay enough money to justify doing it. Generally, it's largely Russian guys who have such bad English that they can't even pretend to be from Canada.

I was once offered an opportunity to get paid to go to anything city for a weekend and make a speech while pretending to be a businessman. The gig paid so poorly that I would have lost money cancelling work for the weekend so that I could do the trip.

Don't take this type of thing too seriously. These sorts of jobs won't pay the rent in Beijing if you want a decent flat.

If you're just visit and an opportunity comes along, do it for the experience. But don't consider it a valid career path.

If you are going to be in China in the winter, do yourself a favour and stay in the south. The winter is not comfortable in the north. I highly recommend Shenzhen in the winter, although there are other cities with a decent winter climate as well.

Seconding avoiding northern Chinas winters. The winters in Shenyang were somehow way colder than Canadian winters.

And maybe it was true before about the rent a white guy thing. But theres nothing special about being white in China anymore. Dunno why people keep talking about white exotic factor in Asia. Its dead, folks.
