RE: Islam is an insidious threat more dangerous than Communism
Personally I'm more worried about progressivism than Islam.

Muslims are a minority, while progressives are all over the media and university establishment.

Muslims are at very least socially conservative, and aren't trying to push LGBT rights, sex changes, radical feminism, and even pedophile acceptance as "normal".

Most of the taboos regarding the criticism of Islam are the result of progressivism, since they've declared Muslims a "minority" and therefore a "protected class". It's progressivism that's trying to make it taboo to criticize Islam (while simultaneously trying to make it "cool" to attack Christianity).

A direct comparison between the two is rather useless at this point, because we are fighting both right now.

In saying that, traitors from within (cultural marxists / communists) are always more dangerous than external threats (Islam, thankfully still more external than internal at this point).

I could have perhaps phrased the original title in a better way. I did mean to debate which was worse, nearly point out that Islam is a similar kind of threat.

What I was trying to say is that the current culture of political correctness* makes it harder to take on Islam.

Though what Samseau says is true, that Marxism and Trotskyism were fashionable in academia and intellectual circles even during the Cold War, I don't think being called "anti-communist" had the perjorative effect "racist" or "Islamiphobe" has today.

*I make a distinction between communism (economic, political) and cultural marxism, which is largely what animates the left today.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

Actually I disagree. For example, McCarthy was RIGHT about Hollywood being full of communists, and his investigation of them resulted in his being one of the first victims of SJW outrage mobs. Ann Coulter has written great articles on McCarthy's mistreatment. Years later, Andrew Breitbart picked up where McCarthy left off and I'm certain that Breitbart's death was not an accident.

RE: Islam is an insidious threat more dangerous than Communism
Quote:Islamic subversion

According to the NATO definition, subversion is “an action designed to weaken the military, economic or political strength of a nation by undermining the morale, loyalty or reliability of its citizens”[2]. It forms the backbone of the global movement of political Islam: “The universality of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the believers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political if not strictly military.”[3]

Although there are numerous examples of Islamic organisations and affiliates currently operating in Europe and the United States whose actions can be classified as Islamic subversion, arguably one of the most politicized and subversive forces is the Muslim Brotherhood.

The movement, its offshoots, and affiliates form networks of Islamic umbrella organisations, mosques, ‘cultural centres’ and Islamic institutes united under the infamous slogan of Muslim Brotherhood forefathers: “God is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of God is our highest hope”. The organisational entities of the Muslim Brotherhood are tasked to pursue the vision of Islamising Western lands via subversive means and eventually introduce Sharia law.

RE: Islam is an insidious threat more dangerous than Communism
The matter is really quite simple when it boils down.

People from modern western nations too often have this ridiculous concept that one's enemies should be defined by to what extent your beliefs differ from theirs. It's an attitude that's based on the bizarrely deluded presumption that all violence that will ever involve them will be at a time and place of their choosing.

People like that are going to end up in camps ringed with razor wire, harshly advising their captors, "I do not consent!"
"I have rights!"
"The Constitution says..."

Funny in a way. Darwinism at its finest. Your enemies are not defined by to what extent your beliefs differ from theirs. In most cases your enemies are not even defined by you at all. Bottom line. Some people want to kill or enslave you. They are your enemies. Get comfortable with it, because they're not going to fight by Marquess of Queensberry Rules and if you don't get with the program then you get to be a warning to the rest.

Muslims are not a majority yet. But their numbers are exponentially increasing anywhere they go, while liberals are committing collective suicide but taking entire civilizations down with them.

Another reason why Christianity is more insidious a threat than Islam is that it isn't honest.

The Bible starts out violent and ends with a peaceful message for followers of Christ.

The Koran starts out peaceful and ends with a violent message for the followers of Islam. Wouldn't you know it, the Koran is basically a political ideology masquerading as a religion. The fact that Muslims even have words for shit like rape gang (Taharrush) or the takeover of a country through immigration (Hijrah) should be enough to give you pause.

The Koran in particular says that anything written later supersedes what was written before it.

Christians say that the New Testament supersedes what was written in the Old Testament.

Why do you criticize Christianity and bring up the Old Testament? That would be like me saying that modern physicists are retarded because we used to believe that the Sun revolved around the Earth.

RE: Islam is an insidious threat more dangerous than Communism
Japan's top court has approved blanket surveillance of the country's Muslims

Quote:Japan's Supreme Court has upheld the government's blanket surveillance of the country's Muslim community.

The court struck down the second appeal by Japanese Muslim plaintiffs against what they perceive as an unconstitutional invasion of their privacy and freedom of religion.

A 2010 leak of 114 police files revealed nationwide surveillance of Japanese Muslims. The files revealed that Muslim places of worship, halal restaurants and Islam-related organisations across the capital, Tokyo, were being monitored.

Within a few weeks of the leak, the data had been downloaded 10,000 times in 20 different countries from a file-sharing website.

A group of 17 Japanese Muslims, mostly from Middle Eastern and North African countries, decided to sue the Japanese government for infringing on their constitutional rights.

Mohamed Fujita, a native of Japan who converted to Islam over 20 years ago, is one of the 17 plaintiffs fighting the surveillance.

He told Al Jazeera: "They made us terrorist suspects, we never did anything wrong - on the contrary."

The Supreme Court finally dismissed the case after two appeals on 31 May.

The plaintiffs were awarded ¥90 million ($880,000) as compensation due to violation of their privacy by the leak.

However, the presiding judges did not make a judgment on police profiling and surveillance tactics which a lower court had upheld as "necessary and inevitable" to guard against international terrorism.

A lawyer for the plaintiffs, Junko Hayashi said: "We were told we don't have a constitutional case, we're still trying to figure out how it is not constitutional."

Speaking at a Tokyo symposium on government surveillance via weblink, NSA Whistleblower Edward Snowden said: "People of the Islamic faith are more likely to be targeted... despite not having any criminal activities or associations or anything like that in their background, simply because people are afraid."

Here's another example of how Japan isn't playing globalist hardball. It's being proven time and time again how sakoku benefitted this nation in more ways than one. The Tokugawa family knew what they were doing, and now the island isn't a multicultural cesspool.

Once again, Islam is trying to play victim here and Japan is having none of it. A few months ago, Dr. Zakir Naik, a renown Islamic preacher, was allowed to speak in the Kansai area. While on his "Japan Tour", it was only natural for him to gain a substantial bundle of converts to the Islamic path.

This is all well and good, and people are free to practice anything they like, right?

Well, except when you look at the fact that, he is a known Salafist ideologue (which may or may not include the backing of Gulf Arabs), and that Islam in general...dare I say it...doesn't play well with others when they are the majority in the country.

When looking at the practice itself, it is more than just a religion. It is an all-encompassing system. People tend to look at the Quran when trying to judge the religion. But it isn't the book itself that is the main source of the problem. Islam has other texts that need to be considered. They are the Hadith and the Sirah. After sitting down and reading both texts, one would assume why there is much apprehension towards the doctrine of Islam.

Secondly, in the case of jihad, it is more than just using the sword and other terrorist aims to spread the message. There's a jihad of the pen, of the mouth, and of money.
While they may be not be violently attacking the nation itself, slowly setting up centers of worship and attracting converts is just as effective as "Islamifying" a nation. Japan has felt the fears of colonialism in the early 20th century, as well as an continued occupation to this day. They know a potential takeover when they see one.

The reluctance and apprehension towards foreigners is what's keeping the nation relatively intact. Rest assured that when events like this happen:

Japan will continue to keep a sharp eye on their Muslim residents. It isn't a question of being politically correct, but more of a "will this benefit us" mentality. The closing off of the island in earlier centuries helped to solidify the thinking that is still found in many people today. The adherence and preservation of the group is of utmost importance. But above all, the prevention of outsiders changing the orthodoxy is central to much of Japanese political thought, hence the recent push to squeeze out foreign influences from the public sector. So ultimately, these events are not surprising and shouldn't be surprising to the citizens themselves.

From the time of the Mongol Conquests, to our present era, Japan has faced trials and tribulations that many other places wouldn't have come back from. But, they are still standing and saying nothing to bring attention to themselves. No bastion of idealism can stand against the tenets of self-preservation and reality. Western leadership used to understand what the history of Japan has always been about. The security of "Us" above all else.

"When you think you're safe is precisely when you're most vulnerable." - Kambei Shimada

Sure communism causes economic downfall, degeneracy and the end of free speech, but Islam in comparison is downright barbaric.

RE: Islam is an insidious threat more dangerous than Communism
Saw this thread on reddit recently, it is a good thread if you want to learn more about where the terrorism threat is coming from and how it is affecting both Muslim and Christian communities:

https://www.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comme...sm_is_the/

Here is a quote taken from the first post:

Quote:The origins of nearly all of the 20th century's Islamic extremist movements lie in a new Islamic theology and ideology developed in the 18th and 19th centuries in tribal areas of the eastern Arabian Peninsula. The source of this new stream of thought was a Muslim scholar named Muhammad ibn Abd-al Wahhab, hence the name "Wahhabism." [T]he "Wahhabi" ideology is built on the concept of political enforcement of religious beliefs, thus permitting no differences in faith whatsoever. In "Wahhabi" belief, faith is not necessarily an option; it is sometimes mandated by force. Anyone who did not profess to this new ideology was considered outside of the realm of Islam - an apostate, disbeliever or idolater, thus making the shedding of their blood and confiscation of their wealth permitted.

A struggle ensued between the staunchly orthodox Ottoman Empire and the "Wahhabi" tribes. The Wahhabis were put down until the eventual dismantling of the Ottoman Empire in the 1920s and the dissolution of its influence. Finding a new opportunity among the tribes, Wahhabis were able to reinstate their beliefs and assert their influence on Muslims of the Peninsula. Gradually from 1920 until today, they were very successful in establishing an "accepted" new ideology in Islam whose essential characteristic is extreme views and interpretations, as contrasted with traditional Sunni Islam. Coming under the guise of reform of the religion, the movement gathered momentum in the last three decades with support from a number of wealthy individuals. As it has grown, the movement mutated and splintered, with the eventual outcome that some groups went to the extreme in radicalization of their beliefs.

The Wahhabi mentality asserts that Islam may be reformed by means of the sword. Thus the movement has manifested itself as armed insurrections throughout the world, especially where governments are weak and unable to resist aggression effectively. The extremists who have turned militant declare war against anyone with viewpoints contrary to theirs; thus, declaration of war against a government is commonplace. In Egypt, they oppose their government. Similarly in Jordan, they oppose their government. In Syria, Pakistan, Algeria, and many other countries "Wahhabi-minded" groups oppose their governments as they have begun to do in the Caucasus and Central Asia. The approach of these movements is to infiltrate mosques, Islamic teaching centers, and charitable organizations from where they indoctrinate religiously oriented people with their ideas and methods. They forcefully impose their views on weak societies, in hopes of conquering one and establishing a base for further control. They justify their militant acts and illegal means of financing their cause by claiming to wage a "jihad" for the preservation of Islam.

It is very well known that certain networks have flourished in many countries throughout the world. Small but well-financed militant movements arise, coming against their government and the common people, instigating conflict. The danger lies when an outside government supports such extremist movements under the false impression that this constitutes preserving religious freedom. To understand such movements, one must understand the scope of Islam and the psychology of Muslims, since what we are seeing today is an ideological movement turned militant. It is important to note that the Wahhabi ideology itself is extreme in its interpretation and can turn militant over time.

CENSORED: YouTube Uses Anti-ISIS Policy to Pull CounterJihad Video. Watch it here.

The video states that CAIR together with other organisations is implimenting a form of jihad in America.

Quote:On Thursday of last week, this site published a video on its YouTube channel. As of yesterday, YouTube has pulled that video declaring it a violation of its “hate speech” policy. The irony is that the video was appreciated by Muslim reformers such as CounterJihad’s own Shireen Qudosi, who pointed out that to reformers like her it was actually helpful speech.

David Wood's stuff is great. I don't have the time to endlessly break down the Islam apologetics and general canned responses, but he goes into great detail to refute their endless claims.

I recommend watching his intro video, the dude is a legit psychopath.

David Wood and his site are great resources. Very informative stuff from a Christian well-versed in apologetics, that background really pays off in analyzing Islam.

Also, the guy blowing his stack was awesome. He must have balls of titanium because that probably resulted in at least a few hundred death threats.

That's not what he's talking about at all. Subtitles are fake. He's babbling about mohamed morsi the past egyptian president and other stuff.

I saw the same video on a Facebook Teaparty group.

I fucking knew it, sometimes the guy would say Mohammed or the Koran in the subtitles but it wouldn't line up with the Arabic (?).

It's no different than the legion of Hitler videos where they dub in whatever dumb subtitle for that one scene.

edit: Also that book they're referencing had 6 reviews on Amazon last I checked. Yeah, it's really taking the illiterate Muslim world by storm.

On a side note, isn't it a fucking shame that the middle east has largely been destroyed to rubble. Could you imagine if they were socially moderate, being able to road trip through modern day Persia, just like you would Europe?

It would have been fucking awesome. Instead, the classic architecture has been ruined, and the entire mass of land is likely somewhere we will never step foot, nor would want to step foot on in our lifetimes.
