Archaic Humans date back to around 500,000 years ago-180,000 years ago and are thought to have had some language ability, so to get to the period you are asking about you have to go back further than that - 500,000 years+

These creatures would have been hunter/gatherers and foragers - they worked hard during the day and in the evenings the males and females enjoyed intimacy/closeness with one another partially as a respite from the hard lives they lived.

Hunter/gatherers lived in small bands (to allow for mobility) that were likely made up of more or less equal numbers of males and females since the 2 sexes compliment one another well in regards to survival. Probably everyone had availability to a mate.

To speculate on your question - I would say that mating and related things probably happened in a natural context and things just fell in place naturally. "Game" wasn't needed- they lived in a more natural way and things happened in a more natural way. "Game" is a modern advent of the society we presently live in and has it's roots in abundance of resources provided through artificial means.

There are plenty of documentaries on chimpanzee group organization, including mating behavior, available on YouTube.

Chimps are pretty sophisticated animals. They're able to form alliances, understand who's friend and who isn't, cooperate on tasks (though usually only when absolutely necessary), and read the emotional states of other members of the group (empathize.)

Cro Magnon lived in caves 50,000 years ago, but they also had language and fairly sophisticated societies as well - we were so effective at large-scale organization that we're probably a big part of the reason there aren't any more mastodons, saber tooth cats, or giant ground sloths left in the world. Rape was likely considered some sort of offense then (though who knows what standard of evidence was required), and probably severely punished.

The alphas of the tribe would certainly not take well to betas fucking women they were not intended to have access to behind their back, consensual or not. That behavior requires prior authorization (which I'm sure they would grant from time to time, as sexless men make for an unhappy tribe.) That's of course assuming a "patriarchal society" (heh) which most, though not all, seem to have been historically.

Language and organized society with codes of behavior feed on each other, so once you have one you pretty much have to have some form of the other. It's been a very long time since modern human ancestors didn't have language, and when going that far back it makes way more sense to simply look at animal behavior, since without language we wouldn't be much more sophisticated. Language is the engine that drives culture, and pretty much makes us what we are.

Aside from the stereotypical "club her on the head and take her back to the cave" line, I'd assume they did it through good body language and eye contact. (Maybe the ones who were too beta to attract a woman had to resort to rape, I dunno).

(According to the "Definitive Book of Body Language", body language nearly has the same meaning in every culture in the world, and more or less pre-dated modern language).

From what I've noticed, not just in humans but other animals too, women are more physically attracted to a man's overall posture than just his "body type", this has been my own personal experience - on times when I was moody or down in the dumps women didn't give me much attention, but when I was in an upbeat or confident mood I always got more attention from women, didn't really matter "what I was saying", but more the overall package.

You can more or less see day to day examples of this - watch birds mating for example; when the male eyes a female he's interested in he does some 'mating dance' (aka a posture display) and if the woman likes what she sees, she goes for it.

(The above is also a reason I think some guys fail; they worry too much about using "the right words" but ignore the fact that nonverbal communication is more important, so they end up looking too nervous, rigid or pedantic).

This is a great thread! That's the thing about using our intelligence too much... we move away from our primal thought patterns which I believe leads to a more happier life. We aren't design to be sitting on our asses all day at a desk job, where if you ask anyone today in the west, they reckon it's bullshit that 80% of communication is through body language. Fuck, people feel stress these days cause they aren't moving. Do hard labour for 8-12 hours a day and you will never feel stressed out cause you are burning stress the natural way.

This is why poor people are breeding and having more sex cause they aren't using their brains and thinking about consequences. They mainly do how they feel and don't give a fuck about the law. This is primal which get women wet and spreading their legs!

For me, soon as I stopped with the book smarts and became a labourer and more primal, i had a better life! People respect men that act like men. They don't respect nice people! Being nice is a feminine trait for women! In the west, it's all backwards which is fucking with peoples hormones (body and mind).

These days, i spend allot of time in Thailand cause it's a normal society (men acting like muscular men, women acting like feminine women) where you don't really need any game at all. When women become empowered over men (the west), you need game and to play the real alpha game!

A women will not sleep with a man she thinks is weaker then her unless she wants child support payments (free income).

Cro-Magnon were fully modern man, they actually hard larger brains than any modern population.

In addition, the traits of cro-magnon man is today still generally accepted as being the most attractive, at least in men.
