So, this is my last day in Krakow...my impressions from what I've seen in 10 days:

1) During the day the amount of talent is very good and I was impressed by that. Around Old Town, at Galeria Krakowska, bus stops, universities. Not many girls walking alone but some are and I should have approached them. I'm not into daygame unfortunately but I know that by not doing it I've missed so many opportunities. I thank all the guys I met that showed me how to do daygame and gave me specific advice. I'll do it next time I'm in Krakow.

2) Almost every girl speak english. After Ukraine (especially outside Kiev) I was a bit worried about the language problem but I didn't meet any girl that didn't speak english, at least a little bit.

3) Shitty ratio during the night. I usually went to clubs around 1:00/1:30 and it's decent initially but then it soon get really bad. After 2:00 the most beautiful girls are already taken or the ones that are not, aren't interested in meeting guys that specific night. They want to just dance around with their girlfriends. So going to clubs early (11 pm) is paramount. Next time I'd definitely going to clubs earlier.

4) Krakow girls have a butterface problem. During the day somehow I see less butterfaces but in clubs you can see in clearly. They have good bodies (many have good tits) but they lack in the face department. The polish nose is probably the ugliest in Europe and it ruins their faces so much.

5) Clubs are so cheap (some are free) that you can literally go to 10 clubs in a night. The most I paid is 20 zloty if I remember correctly (less than 5€). You can just get in, stay 30 minutes and if it sucks go to another one (they're all close to each other). It's actually very good. The drinks are also very cheap, at bania luka and other places you can get shots of vodka/tequila for 1€.
I suggest everybody to download the app "where2be" so you see the best clubs for a certain night.
There is always something going on from Wednesday to Saturday. Sunday/Monday/Tuesday are quite bad.

6) ONS aren't impossible. I saw guys pulling girls almost every night I was out. I've never seen a guy pulling a 8+, but some pulled 6s and 7s. I think you just have to go early and try your luck. Polish girls are some of the friendliest in the world. They give (usually) very light rejections and they're very friendly.

7) Money doesn't matter at all in Krakow. If you went to Kiev you can tell the difference right away. In Kiev you see guys driving expensive cars, wearing expensive clothes, taking tables/bottles in clubs ecc to impress the girls there...in Krakow absolutely nothing similar exist. Even the girls go to clubs wearing normal clothes, few even wear high heels. They're very down to earth and not demanding at all (you can see some weird couples walking around Krakow that you wouldn't see anywhere in the West). A cheap date is perfectly okay for a polish girl. Actually I think they're good LTR material.

8) So many tourists around. Especially erasmus students. You can walk down the streets in Old Town during any night and you'll probably hear more people speaking english, spanish and italian that the polish language. Maybe they aren't huge competition because they don't have game but it's still bad. Moreover I think that polish girls are so friendly and down to earth that you don't even have to have good game to pull them. It's just about balls to approach them during the day (I didn't have actually), going to clubs early at night and luck.

9) Since ONS are possible, having good logistics is important and since all clubs are around old town getting an apartment close to it is important.

10) I liked the personalities of the polish girls and will be back very soon doing daygame for sure and trying hitting the clubs early on.

I couldn't going out with everybody I contacted or had plans unfortunately (my bad) but if everybody is still around in December feel free to contact me, I should be back there

You gotta get out way, way earlier than 1:30am. You're missing golden opportunities.

The streets are a better option at that time than the clubs.

Been here for a few months now. Here's some quick thoughts about Kraków:

-It's not as easy as other 2nd tier cities: Girls in Wroclaw seemed thirsty at times, wheras in Kraków girls were more flaky and less needy. The girls I met in Wroclaw were also more dtf, whereas in Krakow I'd get more LMR.

-Wroclaw is a student city whereas in Krakow you have more young professionals.

-Krakow is probably as safe as it gets in Poland. All other cities seem a lot more "rough" in comparison. I was actually surprised at the amount of chavy (trashy) and skin head looking guys I recently in saw in Wroclaw, which is not quite like I remembered, although overall I do prefer it over Krakow.

-There's lots of Ukrainain girls, many of them very young (they finish highschool at 17, most of them go to Krakow to do a polish language course for a year and then enroll in one of the universities).

-In Poland 19 year old girls are usually still in highschool since they finish a little later than in most European countries. I'd basically forget about them since they live with their parents and only go out with their class mates occasionally on weekends. Instead just focus on girls 20 and above.

-Another problem I encountered was that some girls I'd meet on weekends were actually from Tarnow, Katowice or some other town outside of Krakow, meaning that meeting them again was a lot harder.

-Good venues: Afera (good student club, good mix of a dance floor and some table areas where it's easy to talk to girls), Cubano (get here early though, only good between 11 pm-2am), Club four (mostly Polish students and occasionally Anglo tourist girls), Goraczka, Klub Odeon (this one is not very well known although it's also on the main square. It's a bit upscale, good talent and easy to approach, as they have a bar area at the top floor with a snooker table and chairs. No foreigners here too.). Bania Luka or Pijalnia are also good for pre drinks.

-Shit venues: Prozak (music too loud, rooms are dark and its hard to approach. Also relatively expensive), Klub Shine (upscale venue, good talent, very difficult to approach since most of the club is just two massive dancefloors. The smokeroom is basically the best place to open girls. Ratios were quite bad too. Also expensive). Hush Live : chavy venue where they play disco polo. It's fun to check it out for a laugh if you want to see what a "redneck" club looks like in Poland. It's a bit rough and I almost got into a fight with some drunk guy before I could even get in, so you might want to be a bit careful here. It feels like being in some 3rd tier polish shithole so you will probably stand out as a foreigner.

-I'm not sure why, but overall, I seemed to do better in smaller venues. Shakers, U louisa, and Frantic are ok too.

-Tons of foreigners, mostly erasmus although occasionally I would also see day gamers in rynek (on the plus side I was able to meet quite a few forum members ).

-Overall it's still a decent place to meet girls. There's plenty of opportunities and girls are still friendly and easy to approach. The city itself is more pleasant than other towns in Poland and there's many nightlife venues so you won't get bored so easily here.

Krakow is nowadays a city that offers a lot of things to do: cultural events, concerts, food markets. Plenty of gyms and swimming pools. Investments from abroad, tourism.
While in West you can feel a sense of continuous decadence due to the third world immigration, the rising prices and the crisis, the improvement that I have been feeling in Krakow in these years is terrific.
That's why many people improved their social and financial position, more than in any Polish city. In Katowice and Wroclaw there are plenty of weird guys since the salaries are lower and people were less in contact with foreigners.
Another consequence: being a foreigner is generally a disadvantage, and your American driving license won't give you additional points. Many girls have already good and in some cases Western salaries and good lives hence they aren't waiting for the American tourist dressed like an homeless to save them and bring them in some hopeless city in the West coast...
In some sense the city is normalized and lost the purity and wildness of some years ago; when you went out and anything could happen, crazy stuff that are only memories, at least in Krakow. Progress brings boredom.

Though they aren't easy to spot since they generally don't go to clubs. During my day game sessions I have never met Ukrainian, also. Met a British guy that day-gamed many of them, probably he was able to recognize them.
I suppose that they don't hang out a lot in the center or Galeria Krakowska, but instead stay in the dormitory or in the suburbs due to the lack of money.

True, while in West and Ukraine girls who are 20years old are usually already well-traveled, I don't suggest to focus on girls of this age in Poland since they are often immature.

The huge problem of the nightlife is simple, at least in Krakow. Don't expect to meet again a girl if you manage to take a number in the night. They won't reply to your messages or making the organization of a date a kind of nightmare.
They live in the moment, and the day after they will forget about you. The only way to seal the deal is in the same night.

Easy to approach, they talk even with the average Joe or Antonio. But these guys will end up with nothing at the end of the night. Some people are content due to the fact that they manage to kiss a girl. They believe that Krakow is easy just because the girls talked to them, and sometimes they achieve a kiss. That means nothing in Krakow...shagging quality girls is arduous even if you did your homework, talk local language and you are a model-style lad. 95% of the girls want serious relationship, and have already tried some adventures with foreigners, often disappointing. In this sense this is the worst city because you have conservative girls with high number of foreigners. Moving to Ukraine the situation is different since they are more able to evaluate the "value" of the person, simply from the nationality, the approach and how men dress - for wealthy countries with sophisticate sense of fashion like Switzerland, Italy or France this is for sure a better option. Polish girls seem to prefer Spanish due to Enrique Iglesias, Arturo Soler and this kind of music.

@Giacomo trust me these ukrainian girls are everywhere, including the Galeria. I speak both fluent polish and russian and I can tell immediately when I hear them, but yeah you can definitely find them around the AGH miasteczko studenckie area. I'm spanish but look wise could pass for a local so it doesn't help much.

Would you say the amount of ukrainians has increased significantly because of the turmoil in ukraine? Also the ukrainians are broke, they're in poland to look for better opportunities.

As for investment, I don't know about you but I swung by a real estate office in krakow, I was blown away by the prices of real estate there. It's ridiculous when your paying western prices for places in krakow.

This is a consequence of the high number of foreigners that the city attracted in the last years. For the owners is more convenient to rent, also to the tourists, instead of selling and buying somewhere else.
Secondly real estate isn't profitable in Poland due to the bureaucracy costs associated, although if you open a new shop/restaurant/bar in a niche market, you can make plenty of money.
The typical example is Teatro Cubano: there wasn't a place with latin music in the Stare Miasto, they created a specific venue different from the other clubs all with commercial/house music, and this club is always crowded.

Well having tons of foreigners jacks up housing prices anywhere in the world regardless, in a relative sense it's probably like cities like Toronto or Vancouver in terms affordability for the average pole when you compare it to krakow.

Don't know how much exactly, but they impact more than in other countries according to a couple of friends that recently bought a flat. It is one of the reason why the real estate market isn't very liquid in Poland. And if you buy an old apartment, I was told by Poles that some people living in the flat even tenths of years before could in theory claim some property rights, and then you have to go to the court. Additionally renovations might be hard, especially due to the language, in order to explain workers how exactly they should be done; I remember for a friend of mine finding a serious company with professional workers to renovate a bar was a nightmare - to generalize a little I would say that the best manual Polish workers are abroad where they earn a lot more, and usually in Poland you can find the lazy ones.
I considered all these aspects when I decided that it's not worth to buy an apartment in Krakow.

I'm going there in a few days and it seems incredibly cold and snowy. Is fashion there this time of the year more practical over style based? I'm more confused about what type of shoes/boots to rock.

Wear layers, there's no reason why the two are mutually exclusive. I like to show off jackets and jumpers, so I don't just wear a massive big coat over a T-shirt or something. I do miss Northern Hemisphere winters, can't wait to get back.

I wore Chelsea boots (R.M. Williams) in Germany and the UK in much the same climate over 2 pairs of wool socks, and that kept out the snow and frost well.



Over that, I had a heavy wool overcoat over a couple of layers, this was for - 20° Celsius weather.

It's got nothing to do with money IMO. A lot of polish girls just generally like a darker mediterranean look. I think even darker looking Poles have an advantage.

The Pakistani in London and the Viet in Melbourne are not novel.

Let's put it another way. A foreigner in Poland who is on holidays has more money than a common local. Looking vastly different makes it more obvious that it's a foreigner.

When I've been to Poland, the only thing that set me apart was the way I dressed and my lack of vocabulary... with slightly uncommon accent. When girls noticed this and I confessed that I'm from overseas, their eyes lit up... So I base my view on these real world experiences mixed with awalt theory (psychology etc).

For dress boots, they're pretty sturdily made, so not really. I've never worn Rockports, but something that would hold up in snowfall that looks somewhat smart would be my go to.
