Let's see, there's my black guy friend who has to smile all the time to show he's enjoying himself and non-threatening. Then one of those mulatto women with the big frizzy hairdo that's popular with the kids these days, she has to smile a lot to seem non-threatening too. Then a little asian guy with a backwards baseball cap, and either a hispanic woman or if I'm feeling really multicultural an Indian woman in a Sari. And we all go to McDonald's and smile a lot for the camera while eating off the dollar menu and doing tricks on our skateboards listening to upbeat music. Or Taco Bell sometimes, then we have to find a beard hipster to add to the group. But there's still non-sensical montages of young people skateboarding.

Extremely mixed. I'm Italian-American, my two closest friends are Irish, another is African-American and another is Filipino.

We all met at work. I can't speak for women, but when it comes to men who meet at work, you cease to be "the black guy" or "the white guy" because you're "the guy who fixes the computers" or "the writer."

We are what we do.

This is something liberals and feminists in HR will never understand. And it's why they've ruined race relations because all they see is skin color.

When I was late with my articles and it held up production, the cry from that team wasn't "That damned Italian!" It was "Those damned writers!" Same went for everyone else. Except for the huge fat guy no one liked. He was still the huge fat guy.
