I'm not a Jew. But I'm a HUGE supporter of Israel, and I'm keen to immigrate there.

Does anyone know what the process is for "aliyah"?

I've heard it's near impossible for gentiles. But I'd even be willing to join the IDF to make it happen.

Anybody done this?

3) Contact either Nefesh Benefesh ( facilitates Aaliyah to Israel) or Garin Tzabar (Join the Israeli military) offices in North America and claim you are a Jew.
4) Israel is desperate to attract Jewish settlers and they'll let you in.

Why ask RVF? Ask someone more qualified, or just shoot the embassy an email. We have some well traveled members but I doubt anybody here has even considered immigrating to Israel.

Being interviewed to gain Israeli citizenship is a very easy process. But as you noted Israel doesn't want gentiles immigrate to their country, and they'll be even more hesitant to let you visit Israel if you tell them your intention is to stay. You don't want to lie to them either. So I've come up with a easy 3 step plan to help you get citizenship!

1.) Book a flight to an adjoining country so you can visit an Israeli consulate. Any jabroni can walk down the street to the Israeli consulate in the United States. But by visiting a consulate in a country right next to Israel you show the true commitment it takes to become an Israeli citizen. Prime countries include: Syria, Iraq, or Lebanon [try to get a flight directly into Beirut].

2.) Show your Israeli pride! Wear a shirt with the Israeli flag on it, or a shirt celebrating Israels victory during the 7 day war. Wearing a yamaka with the Jewish star wouldn't hurt either. It doesn't matter if you're not Jewish; do it as a sign of respect. If anyone challenges you on your trip about your commitment to Israel or the military and political actions they've taken debate them vigorously! Don't be afraid to be rude, get loud, or insult the prophet Muhammad! Remember Israel is your country now and you have to stand up for it!

3.) When you arrive at your destination ask around for the Israeli consulate. I have found that the locals are very helpful. Be sure to tell them about your quest to gain Israeli citizenship. Let them know that you don't mind joining the IDF, or even becoming an Israeli spy if that's what it takes. They might have some useful tips for the interview process!

That's it. After your trip you'll soon be sunning on the beaches of Haifa with your legal residency documents in hand. Or more likely murdering wounded Palestinians. But either way mission accomplished!

It's easier to join at your local Hell's Angels Club than immigrating to Israel as a gentile. Israel government requires DNA testing to prove your Jewish bloodline if you wanna want to do "aliyah"

You can't really "marry" Jewish. Sure, you can convert after a while and stuff but you're not a true jew. You have to have a jewish mother to actually be considered jewish. Note that it means the "ethnicity" and not the religion itself. It's a matter of genetics.

Er, is this a joke? Israeli consulates in Syria, Iraq, or Lebanon? Um, those countries are beyond hostile to Israel with no diplomatic relations. Egypt and Jordan have consulates, but not the countries you mentioned; in fact, if you have an Israeli stamp in your passport, you will be barred from entering.

As far as immigrating to Israel as a Gentile, I think you could simply go over there on a work/investment visa. To actually become a citizen, you'd probably need to go through the steps of becoming a Jewish convert.
