He claims that this and his refusal to bow under her cruel/callous ways is why she ran him over. It turned out the kid was his but she was telling everyone the child was hers and Caliendos (the supposed abuser).

When Caliendo brutally beat her in 2013 she later dropped the charges because she still loved him and couldn't bear for him to be in prison. A year later when the umpteenth fight happened, she pressed charges again--this time around anti-feminicide/violence-against-women laws had been passed making it impossible for victims to drop charges once they press them and making it possible for parents to press charges. The reasoning being victims often drop them out of fear or for economic reasons.]

Rosaria fervously defends herself, "I believe in justice but obviously the truth is different".

However two days ago a judge had issued a restraining order restricting her from being in places frequented by her ex-fiancé and his current girlfriend. In fact there are two orders against the model, who in 2013 lost her spleen after the beating by her ex-boyfriend. One by the ex she ran over, and one by his current girlfriend.

The prosecutor's office, which a year ago was sided in defense of Aprea, is now charging her. What happened? Last April 13 she attempted to run over her ex, a 34 year old entrepreneur. Transported urgently to the hospital, he was medicated and released and denounced her for stalking. After examining the case the judge issued a restraining order against her and two of her friends her with her at the time of the collision.

From an older news article I just read today it mentioned how for pageants she's not embarrassed to show her scar from her spleen having been taken out so I suspect it's that (or both?).
