How would you spend your days if you only had to work 2 hours and earned $200k/year?
Will add my thoughts soon, but I'm curious to hear how others think they would spend their days if they only had to do two hours work on their laptop and earned a solid $200k per year?

Well I am not quite on 200k income a year, but I currently only have to work a few hours a week to maintain a high end lifestyle in Bangkok with my current businesses. However, I know how volatile online income is is so I am constantly trying to grow and develop other revenue schemes.

If I had 200k in PASSIVE income (not online income) on the other hand, I would still be growing my business empire and developing useful skills, but I would also spend more time mentoring, advising and investing in other businesses. I would also try to get more involved in the local community by attending charity events, startup events etc..

I've done the digital nomad + banging sluts thing for about a year traveling through Asia and Europe. Shit gets old pretty fast. Would rather spend my time putting down roots in one (or a few) location/s. Learning the local language and building status in that society.

There haven been some other "What would you do if...?" threads lately.

What purpose has it? If you put that question before you actually work two thours a day and earn 200k per year any answer will just be pure speculation, will it not?
If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

For a few years:

Travel. Still entire continents I've missed
Learn Languages - would like to get conversational in three more major ones
Learn esoteric academic stuff
Learn a couple of cool skills - dancing, public speaking
Dedicate a few months to permanently fixing nagging chronic injuries - physical and mental
Pickup. Not just "banging sluts", but really challenging myself to play the game - have adventures, get top-notch chicks and into high-end circles


After that, I expect I'd want to work on something "bigger than me" and make a dent in the world somehow.

Do you have anything in your life that you look forward to when you wake up?

I think RichieP and skptc have given you the best feedback so far: Asking "How we'd spend our days" implies we'd end up doing the same thing forever and enjoy the same level of contentment from it.

Our lives are always in flux and really, only you can decide what your "next thing" is.

My 5 year plan is to get to at least 50k a year working 4 hours a day online.

4 hours of work during the morning, 4 hours of Muay Thai during the day, hang with girls and friends the rest of the day and night.

Yeah I know I can do it sooner. I'm actually 1 year and a couple of months into it. I got a full time job in my preferred field six months ago.

I'd like to do other things with my spare time for the next year or two. And I wanted a goal that's achievable within a reasonable amount of time.
